We stopped into have a light snack as we were driving around the area. It is beautiful territory. The staff was very helpful and knew quite a bit about the different brews. I was able to try some of their ciders which were very good. My husband loved all of there beers. We tried the Beer Cheese Soup and the Bavarian Soft Pretzel. The soup was saltier than we have had before. They also served the pretzel with a Little Dipper of the soup. If we would have known that we could have only bought the pretzel. The soup was better with the pretzel. It took away some of the salt taste.
It is was very clean. It was their slow time for customers so they were cleaning windows, etc. to get ready for the Friday rush. And they were all very nice and honest. I forgot my purse in the bathroom and they brought it out to find the owner. I am so blessed. If ever in town we would definitely go back.

The menu posted here is NOT the actual menu. It is bare-bones compared to this. Very limited choices on food and drinks. The house salad with grilled chicken was good. Husband had the salmon sandwich and side salad. He said it was "ok".
Service was slow. It was a Saturday night, so that may be the reason. It was considerably busy. There was no clean silverware, so we were given plastic forks.
Location and parking were good.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

We went on a quiet, drizzly evening, after driving all afternoon, and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. Such a nice place to enjoy a burger (I got the Idaho Smashburger). I'm not a big beer drinker, but I do like dark beers now and then, and the coffee stout was really tasty. The views are also just beautiful!

This was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the beer (very different than we have had, called Cream) and the buffalo wings as a light snack. The town of Bonner's Ferry is just lovely. Go and support the community!

Website says you are open Mondays- really disappointing to drive 50 miles out of our way to find you are closed!! Please update your website
This brewery rivals the big ones. The head brewer (Matt) really turns out some tasty beers and there is always something new to try. I recommend a flight so you can sample all the goodness Matt has to offer. Food is great but let’s be honest, it’s the beer that shines!

I didn't try food and only stayed for a quick Scottish style ale. It did the job. Staff are very respectful and responsive. Clean place.

The Kootenai River Brewing Co is posted right above the Kootenai River. The view isn't the only amazing thing about this joint, the food is very good but also very greasy. I got the garlic burger with a side of fries and they delivered. Garlic burger had that nice garlic taste but it was almost potent. Their fries were immaculate, fried almost to a crisp, juicy and full of flavor. Overall pretty good, good service and decent food I'd try again.

The one star is because they let our dogs hang out on the deck while we ate. We wanted to like this place coming off a 3 day backpacking trip and craving non dehydrated food. The server was sweet, but did not put our order in correctly and 4 out of 5 of our orders came out wrong or missing parts - 3 burgers had chips rather than the fries we ordered, 2 were missing bacon, one was missing avocado because they ran out. They have a gluten free bun option on the menu but were out of that too so my husband's burger was served with a single tiny piece of romaine lettuce for a "lettuce wrap". The chips we received were way overcooked, impossible to eat and flavorless. I ordered the salmon fish and chips. The fish tasted old and fishy, was dry and unseasoned, and the batter was burnt and saturated in oil. Fries were soggy and greasy, and taste of old, burnt fry oil that hasn't been changed since the place opened. 3 out of the 5 of us walked away with a stomach ache. Paying over $120 for a nearly inedible meal is so disappointing, especially when we were coming off eating dehydrated food for three days, it wouldn't have taken much to make us happy.

While I always love the food here, the last few times I’ve been the service has been severely lacking. One Friday night was pretty busy and there was live music which was awesome. However no one came to check on us, give us drinks, take our order, or acknowledge we were there. After half an hour someone else was seated next to us and a server came and took their order. At that point we just got up and left. Gave it another try recently and it wasn’t very busy this time. It did take a little while to finally get our order taken And then it took over an hour to get our food. The food was really good but it’s just not reasonable to wait so long to be acknowledged and then for food to be made. The family next to us waited an hour and a half for their food. As much as I want to keep coming here, it’s just not a pleasant experience.

I recently ordered a pulled pork sandwich from Kootenai River Brewing co, and I was thoroughly disappointed. The sandwich was excessively greasy, to the point where the bun was soggy and difficult to hold. Instead of a rich, smoky flavor, the overwhelming taste was of old oil, making it almost inedible. The fries also just tasted like old grease. For the price, I expected much better quality. Not to mention the waitress never came back for a “quality” check.
Despite the sandwich itself being excessively greasy, my main issue was with the staff. When I pointed out the problem with my meal, the waitress was dismissive and rude, showing no interest in addressing my concern.
I asked to speak with the manager, hoping for a better resolution. Unfortunately, the manager was just as unhelpful and condescending. Instead of offering a solution or an apology, they insisted the sandwich was prepared correctly and refused to provide a refund or even a replacement.
The lack of professionalism and poor customer service were astonishing. I left feeling completely unsatisfied and disrespected. This experience has ensured I won't be returning.
