Most of the time food is great but occasionally it’s not! Also we went in around 10:30-11:00 and wanted to order lunch and were denied lunch, serving breakfast only until 12:00. So we left! It’s hit and miss with this restaurant.

My wife and I decided to visit this restaurant for their “Thanksgiving feast“ on Thanksgiving day, despite the fact that the price tag was a little bit more than what we were used to you for a simple dinner route. That being said, we weren’t expecting a “simple dinner due to the fact that they were calling their meal a “Thanksgiving feast” so we figured it would be well worth it. I’m home deciding on what to order it took a relatively short period of time to get the food out probably due to the fact that this feast was scheduled to be run from 12 PM to 9 PM and they probably had everything well prepared ahead of time. Once the meals came, I had the ham and turkey traditional dinner and my wife had the prime rib dinner, we found that the “feast“ was not anything of the sort! I had a small sliver of ham, small sliver of turkey, literally one fork, full of green bean casserole, a fork, full of stuffing, and a fork full of Candy yams. The cranberry sauce came in a very small container which consisted of again, only a fork full of food, one warm roll and a very small slice of pie. When the server came back, I had to let her know that my food was barely lukewarm and upon asking her where is the “feast“ I was promptly told that at 1 PM. They were having to “cut back on portions due to the fear of running out of food“. What kind of restaurant offers a limited menu and then does not have enough food where they fear or running out of food for the next eight hours at only one hour into the day and then has the audacity to charge the same price for that of people who have an actual full plate of food? We left hungry and completely unsatisfied, which took us to another restaurant where we had to have a meal for Thanksgiving, which should have been accomplished the first time around at this particular restaurant. Before the food came out, we were thinking it would be a nice tradition since it was only my wife and I anymore and to visit this fine establishment on Thanksgiving and Christmas every year for their “cuisine“. Not the case! After finishing our “feast“ I waited for the manager so that I could speak with him for a full five minutes at the front of the restaurant and nobody came out at any time. This is the reason why I am posting this review. Unsatisfied with the meal. Unsatisfied with the service. Unsatisfying complete experience!

Came with my family to Springs Restaurant & Lounge today, and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. The taste was great, leaving me wanting to come back to grab the meal every time I stop through Bonners Ferry.

Well we were not told about prime rib and we even asked for the specials. So settled on soup and salad for me and he got the special of chicken fettuccine. I ate my salad. Was good but not alot of options. Then I got my soup. Was good. But husband still waiting and waiting. I was all done by the time he got his. Just as he finished we heard the people behind us order prime rib. Ordered cake to go and asked about the prime rib. She said she forgot. Told her about the food being late. Trust me. I did not get a free cake due to this. Won't be back.

Among the best hotel restaurants I've ever seen. I stay at hotels about 30-40 times a year. Their food, the atmosphere, and the service are all outstanding.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
Had a 5 day getaway to Bonners Ferry... This restaurant was recommended (thank you Audrea). We ended up eating here 3/4 nights. Every dish we had was WONDERFUL. Great portions. BEAUTIFUL scenery on the river. Fabulous servers (Tessa, Kahaila, Megan)! Lots of laughs. Overly filled bellies. Highly recommend!
