Beautiful views from the patio dining area. Large menu with good options for everyone. Food isn't necessarily five star steakhouse quality but it's pretty good for the options available in the region. Friendly staff and local family owned. Many locally sourced ingredients and locally themed dishes too.

I'm out of town in idaho and there's cows everywhere, which is a good sign that this should be an awesome steakhouse. The worst filet ever. Very tough and no flavor. Silverware was also dirty. I didn't eat it and they gave me a 50 percent discount.

Love looking out at the river! You actually can part at the river and walk up to the restaurant! Prices are reasonable for what you get. The lunch buffet is pretty good. Morey and his family are awesome! I have known them since they had a restaurant in Malta. Down to earth, sincere, folks who go out of their way to try and make sure you have a good experience.

Placed a to-go order of Chicken Fried Chicken. The person who took my order double checked that I wanted that, and not Chicken Fried Steak. Received Chicken Fried Steak from a waitress who must have been having a bad day. Wrong food, no salad, cutlery, or napkin.

We came in 6/28/25
I ordered a double tall Seagram’s and seven. That thing was huge (much larger than the typical pint glass) and it was a good strong drink.
I then ordered a woodford old fashioned with my meal. I’m not sure if it was the double seagrams or the few coors lights I had before I got there, but that old fashioned was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. They need to get the single large ice cube, but all in all it was a well balanced drink.
Onto the food. I ordered the prime ribeye. For those of you saying it’s expensive, you’re an idiot if you think a prime graded 16 oz ribeye is expensive at $49. That’s a $70 steak where I live. I ordered it medium rare and it did come out a little undercooked, but I didn’t mind and the alcohol cured any other part of me that gave a shit to say something.
I also got the 8 piece Jumbo shrimp. They were good sized and cooked to still be flavorful.
I’ll be back next year and I’ll eat there again

Best steakhouse in town
Beautiful puppy friendly patio, gorgeous views, excellent service, and great selection of tasty food! We will be going back on our way through in October 2025!
Our server Shaniqua was amazing. Very kind. Might have forgotten to shave recently though she had kind of a mustache going on. Atmosphere was great and the people are kind. Mondays is the day to be there as it’s sushi night. The tiger and snake rolls are definitely worth trying. Easy access from the river made it painless to get all the cranky kids off the boat and into the restaurant. For desert the sizzling Apple dazzle way to go. Ice cream on Apple pie served on a hot platter. Delicious
It’s expensive for what it is but that doesn’t mean their food isn’t good. They have good food nothing over the top just pricey.
So we went to this place because others in our group were raving about it. I’m guessing something has changed because I still cannot believe how much I spent on almost inedible food.
THE FOOD:
I love prime rib, I get it at a lot of different places. I wish I would’ve taken a photo of the prime rib, it looked like it was cut and then sat in an oven and it continued to Cook. It was a grayish/pink, not how a prime rib should look.
My wife, got a steak, and she is a steak lover, she couldn’t even finish 1/4 of it. She ordered it medium, and it came out rare, but the outside was burnt. I tasted a piece and all you could taste was burnt.
The salad was old. The tatertots were over cooked.
I can honestly say I’ve had better food at a truck stop! AND THIS PLACE CLAIMS TO BE A STEAK HOUSE!!
A different person in our group got the Trout. We asked him how it was and he said “it’s closer to jerky than anything”…. That’s all you need to know about this place.
SERVICE:
From the moment we got there I got the impression that we were “inconveniencing” them. The place was DEAD, there was two other small groups there, so it wasn’t like they were overwhelmed by customers.
Watch out for their UPSALES. They would offer things like “do you want the house salad or go make your own at the salad bar?”
But they don’t say it costs an extra $4 to go to the salad bar.
My wife ordered a side of mashed potatoes and the waitress said “do you want the bacon, cheese and sour cream on those?” My wife said yes, thinking that’s how they came, not that it was an extra $3.
One of the other member in our group had ordered a beer, and wasn’t even halfway done with it when the waitress asked “what kind of beer did you have again?” And he told her, thinking she was adding it to the bill. Next thing we know she brought him another beer, that he did not ask for, and she brought a beer for another guy that was in the bathroom. Neither one wanted a 2nd beer, but they sure had to pay for it.
I also NEVER got a receipt from them, she didn’t offer any type of receipt, or breakdown for my $90 worth of food that went into the garbage.
When we went to leave there was no “thanks, come on back” the girl sat there with her arms folded like we somehow offended her.
The ONLY redeeming quality is the building and view. But I can get the same view and better food from the taco truck down the street.
In conclusion, avoid this place like the plague unless you like overpaying for inedible food, and crappy service.
I should’ve known a place that advertises a “two bite guarantee” and not an actual “if our food sucks we won’t charge you” guarantee.
I will not be back and will preach from the mountain tops about my horrible meal from this so called “steak house”. It should change its name to “Moreys Scam House”
