This was our first time ever eating here. The food was incredible! Our server was very nice, and was very energetic and answered our questions very well. We sat outside, and the restaurant is on the side of the river so the view is spectacular! Definitely will come here again! I got there soup of the day which was Clam Chowder, best clam chowder I've had, all their sandwiches are amazing, the whole family loved the appetizer sampler platter, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

Had to run to Burley to pick up a party for the farm and decided to take the fam and go out to dinner as it was in the late afternoon/early evening. We Googled best places to eat in Burley and The Boat House was listed at the top so we decided give it a try. It’s very out of the way down on the river in a beautiful setting. The staff was so friendly and kind and their service top notch. The food is SO SO GOOD! At our table we had the Prime rib sandwich, a kid’s cheese burger, a large bowl of clam chowder, chicken strips and fries basket, and the steak sandwich. Everyone loved their food and all said it was some of the best we’ve had at a restaurant. The prices were very reasonable too. We’d highly recommend The Boat House!

We stayed at The Boathouse through Harvest Host camping app, and from the moment we arrived we were greeted with warm and enthusiastic hospitality. Gabrielle had the Beets and Goat Cheese Salad, and I had the Shimp Alfredo and it was perfect. Generous portions, amazing flavors, fresh and well prepared ingredients, and wonderful attentive service. Proprieters, Sabrina and Dean visited with us and we felt like they were opening their home to family.

We had a nice dinner on the patio. Beautiful view. We had the chicken sandwich and bacon wrapped shrimp. Both were very good. Chelsea was great and swiftly handled our requests.

I'm not sure what all is the hype was about. The view was great and the prime rib sandwich was tasty earning the 3 stars overall. My full order goat cheese and beet salad was very small and for the same price as the prime rib sandwich a very poor value given that there wad no protien other than cheese and nothing needed cooking. They were very understaffed, seated us at a dirty table and seemed annoyed when we asked for it to be cleaned. The service was slow and unapologetic.

We went today at 3pm. There was one waitress, she was the hostess/bartender/waitress/food runner/busser and she was doing her absolute best, but definitely needed help! The atmosphere was great and loved sitting on the patio by the river. We waited a long time for lack luster food. Prices were a little high for what it was.

Food and service is great, but when a vehicle that was in their parking lot goes missing its no big deal!!! My son and i had left my sons car there till we could get it towed elsewhere,,, well on 3/28/25 we get there and its gone… i had already been worried they would have it towed since it was left there so when it was gone i started calling the local tow companies,,, NONE HAVE THE CAR!! so next day i go and look at each towyard just incase,,, again its nowhere!! So i am completely confused as to where my sons car is and go speak with a employee and ask if they could tell me if the business had it towed or what,, i was told that they never had it towed,,, so if they didnt have it towed than someone stole it and they wouldn’t even check the cameras so i could find out who took my sons car tu ay
It was my first time here. I wouldn't go back. The shrimp was good and hot. The nachos, the chips were hard and stale, the cheese was runny fake cheese, the meat was good but cold. I also had tacos, they were bland and cold. Not worth the money.
The view of the river was the best part.
Parking: The parking lot is dirt. Don't go on a rainy day if you don't want your car all muddy.

Service was lacking—our water wasn’t refilled, and our bread took forever to get. The salad lettuce was fresh, which was a plus. However, my burger was supposed to be medium but came out well done. The Pirate Planks were just okay, nothing special. The only reason giving a higher rating is because the price seemed good for the food we got in terms of quantity.

Food. Awful. Our appetizer was not even hot, nor cooked all the way. Kids Mac plate was cold and gross. We got 3 fish baskets and all were so different. Mine, half the pieces were empty, they were mushy and batter was not cooked. Other one the fish was like mashed potatoes mixed with uncooked batter. Third wasn't even hot. Salad was old. The lettuce was brown. Lemons from our drinks needed replaced as they were old.
It was hard to even want to complain when our waitress hardly came around!
And while we were here the kitchen break tripped. How did they notice... or how long until they did. With our food not being hot, nor cooked well, it makes me wonder.
Highly disappointed as we come out this way once a year and always try new places.

We came here after the reviews, the food is poor quality, not worth the price. I don’t mind paying for good food but my salad had mold, the wings didn’t even come with the sauce on them, my sons burger was covered in pepper and he loves spice… awful, just awful my husband prime rib sandwich is the stuff you can buy from Walmart, the gourmet mac and cheese was cold and liquid and melted white cheese. We’ve traveled the world and please don’t claim gourmet in your food

I was charged $31.57 for a Caesar Salad with chicken added that should have been $15 plus the $6 for the chicken. When I brought it up to the waitress I was told there is nothing they can do. I feel like that is false advertisement and should be corrected. What an absolute shame, I along with many co workers come to this area but I will tell them to take their business elsewhere.
