Acapulco's pupusas use pinto beans and authentic Mexican flavors. The beans were tasty and fresh, though not as creamy as I like. The curtido was the best I've ever had! And, the masa harina was fried to perfection - crispy outside and moist inside. Service was excellent. I noticed others ordering asada, and the asada looks amazing, and so I'll try that when I return.

They have 40oz bottles of Modelo (like sharing a bottle of wine!) and miniature bottles of Modelo and I found that a nice touch.

In addition to loving taqueria cuisine, I love trains. Get both with Acapulco, which is a stone's throw from the railroad track so I get to eat while hearing a nostalgic, roaring freight train.“
