The food was terrible! We will not go back! My husband's fajitas were overcooked. I had the chile verde and it tasted like it was out of a can. Not authentic for sure! That's the second time so we are out! So sad!

Excellent food and service. This is what you hope to experience from a family owned business! Always great, consistent food and service. Highly recommend. It’s a shame to see negative reviews regarding the parking lot from people that do not respect their private parking lot. There are signs everywhere, so as long as you can read and are not ignorant you will have no problems at this restaurant.

Food is always good, and fresh and they always cater to my liking of hot salsa.

WARNING!!! This place will scam you with a parking ticket of $150!!! Even if you are planning on eating here!!! Others who left reviews had the exact experience even though they ate here!!!We parked in their lot, walked down the street for 5 minutes and came back to eat here. We where getting ready to go inside when I noticed the boot on my tire. When I walked over to my car to check it out, a guy came out of the shadows telling me it was $150 to release the boot. I told him we are going to eat here. He said it was too late. After that, the last thing we where going to do was pay another $50 to eat at a place that clearly doesn’t care about the people who want to support their business. We’ll never be back and have warned our friends.I’ve seen on other reviews the owners replies that they hired the parking enforcement out to another company and to just tell the employees in the restaurant the situation and they might be able to help. Reality is, they employed the parking enforcement company and are responsible for their actions. The parking enforcement employees actions are a reflection on the restaurant whether they like it or not. They can always get another parking enforcement company who will work with people who are actually going to eat here. Hope this review helps others before they fall victim to the same scam.

Parked here for 5 minutes. Came back to go to their restaurant and had a boot on our car. Super shady guy waiting in his truck waiting for people to leave the lot. Charged $150! We will never eat here and will spread the word to everyone else too!

First time at the restaurant. A friend recommended it. There is nothing fancy about the restaurant, and the service was just OK, but the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. If you want good food but no frills, this is your place. It is downlown and just a couple-mintue walk to the ice rink (Christmas season). We will be back.

Food was mediocre. Left find they put a boot on my car... Apparently, this "restaurant" makes it's money charging $150 to remove a boot, instead of making quality food. Yikes!!!

Imagine having all these negative reviews based on the predatory booting and not increasing your parking signage. The individual hiding in the shadows could have easily said no parking instead he only shows his face soQuickly when it’s time to pay $150 to remove the boot.Classless. I feel for you with everyone using your parking lot and not eating at your establishment. Be a better person. Add some signage. I literally didn’t see the sign. Based on the reviews, it looks like this has been going on for years and you’re more than comfortable allowing it to continue. This speaks directly to the character of the owner of this company.I will not ever support this business. I will also actively tell anyone that ever mentions going to the Indian creek plaza lights to never eat there.Have a great Christmas, I’m sure you love this time of the year making all that money off the boots.

Acapulco, tucked in downtown Caldwell, isn't just a restaurant; it's a living legend. With roots firmly planted in our community for possibly 30 glorious years, it has become a staple. The remarkable part? It hasn't just stood the test of time; it has flourished. Stepping into Acapulco is like entering a realm where each dish tells a story of tradition and passion.Acapulco has consistently delivered excellence! Missing out on Acapulco is like skipping a chapter in the story of Caldwell's culinary history. Don't deny yourself the pleasure – Acapulco is a must-visit restaurant that continues to shine brightly in the heart of our community. ??Bonus…they make incredible drinks and have a fantastic bar in the back behind the restaurant. The bartenders are amazing and everybody knows everybody inside. If you don’t know them you soon will!Parking: This is one of the few restaurants that has its own parking downtown for just their customers ?

Food is bad . Service is even worse. If your going to raise prices at least keep the food quality good like it was before. Disappointed
