One of the most memorable anniversary dinners me and my husband had.
Food: unique combination of traditional Mexican cooking methods and flavours with the Michelin star quality. Mole Verde was the biggest surprise - what a combo of flavours! Short Rib was exquisite!
Cocktails: they were creative (ie tequila version of old fashioned, non-alcoholic version of gin with cucumber and dill). Cocktails were so well balanced and unique that they deserve a separate entry in this review :)
Service: Carla took an amazing care of us. Attention to details at the highest level. She carefully attended to all our dietary preferences with vast knowledge of ingredients on every dish. Since it was our anniversary, we received complimentary champagne and Instax photo with personalised note which was a very nice touch on top of already lovely evening.

I was beyond Impressed with Amano! Our server Karla was a 10/10, very genuine, attentive and so friendly. Tatiana came to say hi and talked us in to the Lavender tres leches cake which was amazing. My dinner was the best chile Reyeno I have ever had. Will be back and strongly recommend.

We got to the restaurant at 10:30 with reservations for Father’s Day. The ladies at the front desk were talking and didn’t acknowledge us for at least five minutes. We didn’t get service until almost 11. Ordered drinks and waited forever for them. We ordered the carne asada tacos and the pork tacos. They gave us carne asada and birria. We didn’t want to complain and just ate it. The carne asada was delicious and the birria was sub par. We didn’t. get drink refills and the waiter was non-existent. I have heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and both times I have been here, the service has been terrible and extremely slow. Very disappointing.

If you’re wanting $15 enchiladas go somewhere else.
If you want incredible dishes and a true fine dining Mexican restaurant (rare), this is the spot. Food and drinks both excellent.
Side note- the new location might be one of the most beautiful and tasteful restaurants I’ve been in.

Sin duda regresaré a pasar un rato agradable a esté restaurante, tiene un sabor tan real a la comida Mexicana, con el picor necesario y porciones excelentes , es el mejor de Idaho , ningún otro "restaurante de comida" Mexicana se compara a AMANO. Me alegra saber que la recomendacion de visitar este restaurante fue de mi chef., y sin duda no se equivocó en la elección, ame la comida de principio a fin y me hizo regresar por un momento a casa.
