This was my first time in since the ownership changed. It's a cool little spot and I like the decor and such. Unfortunately, we were not greeted at all after literally standing in front of the employees at the counter. I also saw the owner behind the counter. No greeting, no smile, didn't seem enthusiastic to assist in any way. I did notice they did greet people sporadically, but no smile to make it feel genuine. I'll go to the M if I want over priced coffee from now on .

I really wanted to like this place. I was in town from 40 minutes away for an appointment and made plans to stop in. Location is cute. However I waited 30 minutes for two coffees. One of which was made incorrectly when had to be remade. Someone else behind me left before their coffee was made. Baristas had no urgency. Could’ve driven to nampa and gotten the same coffee at Starbucks and been on time getting back to work.

I've heard good things about the people behind this place, but my experience trying to do business with them has been so strange that I am compelled to post something here.
The first time I attempted to do business with them, I wanted to buy a gift card for someone to pick up in-store. I assumed (yes; my fault) that I'd be able to call the establishment to set such a thing up. Nope. I looked high and low and couldn't find a phone number for this place anywhere!
I found an email address and sent an email, but no one ever replied. Strike two!
Then yesterday, I attempted to meet some friends there at 2, and showed up at 1:45. Although the hours on the window and everywhere else I looked said that they'd be open until 3, the lights were down and the doors were locked!
Stranger yet; there were a couple gals working in there, but side-eyeing me and pretending they didn't see me (although I was wearing a VERY visible orange and black plaid flannel shirt)! No sign up explaining the lapse in service or apologizing for the inconvenience, no attempt to communicate with me as I stood there perplexed at the situation. Just locked doors and side eyes!

Amazing place. Loved the atmosphere. Great espresso and kind service. Espresso isn’t too harsh yet full and rich. They have seasonal drinks source their syrups and teas carefully.

Our drinks ended up being delicious, but have to give a lower review because they were out of the first 3 things we tried to order. None of either chai, no cold brew. We drove 20 minutes out of the way specifically because they advertise house made chai, so a bummer for sure.
