Food tastes great and good prices as well. The best time to go is during lunch time for the specials. However, the service is awful. You are frequently ignored and its hard to get something as simple as a menu. I sat and waited for 30 minutes for her to come back and get my credit card for payment so I could leave. I was so sick of waiting I just left cash on the table. I highly recommend getting takeout.

So make sure you verify prices prior to ordering. The only menu I could find that said it was posted 5 months ago was incorrect by about 35%. When my son gave me the receipt I called and was told there was nothing that they could do except apologize that the only menu online was incorrect. So I basically paid for an extra meal and got hung up on. Because it was a pick up order they did have my phone number and could have called back. Not sure that I would order again. Highly disappointed in the lack of customer service. Not like my order was small. Shame on you Golden Palace!!

We ordered Chinese food to go Chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, chicken fried rice, and cashew chicken. Everything had minimal taste to almost tasteless. The Wong tongs were completely over fried. The people working there were very nice but I would not recommend eating Chinese food here. It was not good at all. Disappointed in so many ways.

Lady who was working the cash register overcharged us by $30. Counting by the price on the menu per dish we ordered plus tax, our bill should have been $50, but the lady charged us $70 and used the language barrier to her advantage once we started asking questions, acting as if her English was bad, but turned around and spoke fine English to her English speaking coworker when she thought we weren’t paying attention. Not to mention our food was cold when served, cups were dirty, and table was sticky and dirty. They were not busy whatsoever. The waitress only came by once - to take our order after sitting there for 30 minutes. Another table had left because their food was served cold while we were there. Terrible place to eat, which is sad because this used to be our go-to restaurant 10 years ago. Do not recommend. Go to Canton on Cleveland and Fairview or Hong Kong in Nampa, either are far better.

Today me and my family went here for dinner. We waited about an hour to get our food then on top of that the food was horrible. My grandson got sick from eating the food and most of the food was tossed in the trash.I would not recommend this place. Awful.

Terrible low quality chinese food. We went there and waiting for 1hr. The place is extremely run down. Like most places these days they were short staffed so we extended a ton of grace. We requested no MSG as a few of us in the group were allergic. The staff was nice but service was terrible a lot of waiting & no one to help. We continued to offer grace as we only saw one person maning it all. We figured if the food was good than it was worth the wait. Food was not great. Low quality cafeteria food is the best was to describe it. We got the bill & was more disappointed as we had nothing with prices just lots of chicken scratch & our total which was higher than expected. We left extremely disappointed waiting over 1hr giving them the benefit of doubt yet to be disappointed with food,service & cost. Not to mention our little guy that started having extremely stomach cramps after eating that food and was in a lot of pain. We were told we can request them not to add MSG but their clearly was MSG in our food. Not cool.
