Order fish and chips only got two pieces that was to go. Tasted like rubber threw away.
Ordered l: Spicy Thai Rice Bowl, Thai Sauce, White Rice, Radishes, Carrots, Daikon, Crispy Jalapenos, Fresh Cilantro, Avocado, Mint, Cashews, Lime with shrimp.
Did not come with mint, cashews, cilantro and only came with three shrimp.
The only thing good about this was the sauce and the avocado.
Ordered: Cuban Sandwich and fries.
The fries were cold and the sandwich did not taste good .
I always wanted to try this place. I’m glad that I did, but I will not be coming back.

Menu is rather small, but that allows for the food we received to taste amazing. Full of flavor, perfectly cooked and textures on point. Friendly service team, modern atmosphere, comfortable prices, and did I mention amazing food????

Overall I had a great experience! I thought the food was phenomenal. Every time I have come I get the 2C burger with fries and it has not disappointed yet, I highly recommend it. Also the poutine is very good and I would recommend as well . I thought the service was great. Even on a packed night the servers make sure you are prioritized and get your orders in and make sure you have water. I thought the atmosphere was good it just felt a little dark inside, it might have been just where we were seated. But I had a great overall experience at this restaurant and plan to come back again!

Lots of great menu items. I have tried several and have never been disappointed. The Pork Belly Mango Burger and the Cuban Sandwich are a couple of my personal favorite. Grit is one of my favorite options for lunch meetings or a casual dinner with friends. It's so nice to have good dining options in Caldwell.
Very unique, fun place to dine and enjoy cocktails. Greeted promptly and friendly. Bartender was fun and knew his way around the bar. Great cocktails. Visiting from Texas and id definitely go back.
I thought it was expansive for what you got. My opinion wasn't improved when I didn't like my food. I thought it was just me, but no one else in our group liked it either. Other people's food, opinion was mixed, so "ok"? Dessert: My cheesecake wasn't good. Someone else got strawberry shortcake, and that was excellent. Tiny drink. All over priced. Service was "eh" at best. Wasn't asked if we liked our food (even though I only ate half of both and didn't bring anything home) and we really only saw him to hear if we wanted dessert. Personally, I would not go back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Caldwell, Idaho. The food is high quality and so are the cocktails. More importantly, the service is impeccable. There is a small town feel but a New York City taste. You can be a frequent flyer or a one time visitor and it will not matter, as yo will be treated the same. Great job Grit! You are true grit!
