Ordered a 10oz filet with potatoes, asparagus, and beans, and they served me up a plate of pure, unadulterated 'hell yes!'.

*Update*
We visit this place frequently but since our favorite waitress that was in the tavern left it has gone down hill.

On one occasion our waitress poured water in our sprite. Then this go around we got the same waitress. There were only 6 tables being served and people that got there after us were getting their food before us. we noticed our plates sitting to go out for 20min.Oour waitress brought us our food cold and with out the mashed potatoes. We asked for fry sauce and she forgot about it. We waited another 15 min for the mashed potatoes that were not the same that we normally get when we go there. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said that nothing was wrong with them.

We tried to voice our concerns with her and she seemed very irritated with us like we were trying to get a free meal out of them.

Normally the quality of the food is pretty good but the last 2-3 times we have gone the service has been the problem.

* We went back to give it another try. This time there was sheetrock dust all over the place where we were sitting in the Tavern. Table was filthy. The Glasses were still dirty with someone else lipstick still stuck to the glass. Told the waitress and she just just took it and laughed it off. No apologies nothing.

Food was raw, and way over seasoned(salty) Prices have gone through the roof, and service has gone completely south. Used to love this place, too bad..

Got there with a shit ton of open seating and we're told it was going to be a 30-40 minute wait. When we got our table it was a table for 4 when there was 5 of us. So we just got up and left... worst experience at a restaurant ever

We really love the freedom based messages, especially during covid. Their t-shirts are hilarious and awesome. But that's where the good stops. You're getting pub food at steakhouse prices. The service is average at best, and the lack of kids menu makes the cost ridiculous if you bring kids. We really want to love and support this place, but we just can't with those major issues. Hopefully they get a kid's menu and get some more reasonably priced steakhouse quality food.

Always great atmosphere (cowboy steakhouse vibes) and fantastic food. Yes, it's pricey, and we only come for special occasions but we have never been disappointed in their delicious food. They often have live music and there are pool tables and a ride-on bull. We love this place!

Overpriced drinks "3 mixed drinks and 3 shots of tequila was over $100". Food is okay. Service is inconsistent. You'll get great service one time and then you'll go in the next time and and sit there for 30 minutes before someone comes and takes your order.

We have moved back to the Treasure Valley and had been excited to try this restaurant. You have to get reservations for this. We thought it would be special. I was pretty disappointed. The decor is country ranch, which was cool, but our hostess took us through a back room to another room by the tavern to seat us. The back room was dirty and disorganized and we could view it from our table. We sat near an exit and my back was to it. I was taking a drink when the door was opened and closed abruptly and loudly. I nearly choked and spilled my drink. The hostess acted like she didn’t want to be there. When we thanked her, she merely nodded at us and left. I will say we had a pretty attentive waiter. But after he took our order, I felt like maybe we were stuck in the back room and forgot about. Later, there was another couple that came and sat there, and we didn’t feel too alone. The food Was just OK. Nothing that I would brag about. I thought some chain steak restaurants had done a better job. For the price of our meal, I would expect a lot better. I don’t think I will ever go back. Sorry, I don’t like to give businesses any problems, but I think there are improvements to be made.

Food was mediocre, service was horrible and all the TV's were set to America's Got Talent on a Monday night during football season... you can't have at least one TV on Monday Night Football?!? And then I was offered Apple Pie, which I was really excited for but then they came back and said "sorry, how bout Peach instead" ? I don't see us ever going there again
