Mancino's Subs & Pizza

Just a few things:
- The older man who was our cashier today gave us probably the best customer service we’ve had in a while. A genuinely gentle and kind man, a very good first impression for the business. I saw that another customer had a problem with a sandwich not arriving yet, and he handled it with grace and helped him the best he could.
- atmosphere was very calm and homey, accompanied with a beautiful mural on the wall. A nice place to chit chat and catch up with people, felt very intimate.
- food was pretty good, I got the meatball sub and my fiancé got the Idaho spicy italian. My meatball sub was lacking in flavor, the meatballs tasted like they were pre-frozen from the store, not made in house. But the sauce was decent. My fiance says his Idaho spicy Italian was absolutely delicious, although he didn’t taste any of the “spicy” in it at all.

Overall a 4/5!

Self serve canned drinks in the fridge were covered in mold...

Fantastic sandwiches, I ordered the French dip lunch special, husband ordered the tuna melt, my kids split the turkey and cheese (lrg). Only thing I can complain about was how filthy the floors were. We were the only people eating in and in my opinion if the restaurant is empty and the floors are dirty then they should be vacuumed. Don't get me wrong this wouldn't stop me from eating here again, just an observation from an outsider.

Good food, and quite filling for the sandwich sizes. Prices are good for the amount of food you recieve. Parking is tight with limited spaces. The tables were clean, but the eatery could use an update on its dining area. An OK experience.

Love the roast beef sub, and the italian combo is great too!

I personally did not like their food. I tossed a whole pizza and 3/4 of a sandwich. You might like it, so don't rely on my judgment.

I normally go to Nampa Mancinos and they are amazing every time I have gone to Caldwell location 2 times and I was very disappointed both times first they never answer the phone second the staff isn’t very friendly and lastly they don’t take pride in their sandwiches I really hope they can get it all worked out because when I was a kid I loved this restaurant

The last 3 times I have ordered from this store they never answer the phone so you have to go in to order and the food is very disappointing with that said I live in Caldwell and I will definitely be ordering from the Nampa location I have never had a bad experience at the Nampa location they always answer the phone and the food is always great

Might want to think twice about your customer service! Nampa just got all of my business even though I will be going out of my way! Much rather go out of my way and be treated with respect!

Hate to give a bad review to a place that has great food but here we go!

Food is bomb. Can’t lose with their amazing bread and if you want a solid grinder this is the place to go. Just don’t go here. Try out the one in Boise.

Not sure if it’s the owner but the older woman who took my order is rude, curt and downright grumpy. As soon as I walked it I was met with a “it’s gonna be 25 to 30 minutes!” It’s like she wants everyone to just leave.

So I did.

That was a month ago.

Today I went in cuz I have a craving and guess what. Same thing. This time I decided to wait and I even mentioned when she told me about the wait I said, “Always is.”

To which she replied, “no it’s not! We just got a big order in.”

Regardless, there is no reason to be rude and not even greet a customer and go right into how it’s a bother to serve. You literally are in a business of serving customers food. If you hate it maybe do something else.

Also parking at this location is horrible!

Owner habitually declines phone calls, cant make an order ahead no matter what you do. I know my calls are being purposefully forwarded when im trying to place an order. I will not be back. Never seen a business with less of a desire to make money. It actually blows me away. The attitude towards customers is like she literally would rather us turn around and walk out the door. Total joke, the other locations will be receiving my business from now on.
