Came in from the cold looking for soup! Some of the best clear soup of my life. Also had a salmon tartare and agedashi tofu. Very very good. My sister got a steak meal. the steak was a bit bland to me, but she enjoyed it so that's what's important!
Definitely will be back when I'm in the area.

First time eating here and right off the bat the smell when I walked in really was off putting, I can't exactly describe it, but stomach turned. The waitress was fine, just busy nothing truly her fault with all the tables being full, as she did fail to bring us a few small things we asked for and we didn't see her once all the plates were set down and she brought the check. The food, well there are too many options and I think that is what hurts them. The fried cheese dumpling, akin to crab rangoon, was simply heated up from frozen, and exactly like the ones at a nearby all you can eat place. The fried rice was dry and the egg in it over cooked and tasted weird. The stir fry tasted and looked like top ramen brand noodles and you could taste the beef flavor packet, it was just bad. I can't think that any of these dishes were not from frozen. Now the Sushi. most of what we got was not bad and they had some creative combinations. Two of our party shared a salmon roll and they both commented that it tasted and smelled funny and then got sick within the next few hours. No one else got ill from the sushi, so might not have been the sushi. Overall the sushi was fine and the service expectedly disrupted because of the full restaurant. I truly think because they have so much going on with the many many options that they are cutting corners with the rice and stir fry, which were two major dishes. 4 for atmosphere because it was pleasant and 4 for the staff, 3 for the food. Overall 3

We tried to eat at this restaurant on a Friday night. It was busy but there were multiple tables open. We stood at the hostess station for literally 10 minutes without any acknowledgment, despite all staff members looking at us. When we finally were acknowledged, we were asked if we wanted a table or the bar and I requested a table. The waiter then asked us to sit at the bar. A couple behind us were immediately seated at a table. No service or acknowledgment at the bar, so we left. Will not be returning

Such a high quality sushi restaurant- especially for a land locked state. Not only that but being in Caldwell. A wide variety of menu options at a very reasonable price. HIGHLY recommend the Happy Plate for a family of four.

This place could be much better. The food took over 45 min to get to the table with only 5 couples in the restaurant. The servers were very nice and apologetic the whole time. I'm not sure why it took so long to get the food out but everyone inside had to wait a very long time. It looked like they were more concerned with take out orders..... note to owner.... it's the one's that are in the place that get upset and leave bad reviews. Take care of the customers in front of you first. Take out or Uber eats can wait.

Our server was AWESOME! Very friendly and attentive. The food was great. My wife has eaten her a lot. This was my first time and I’m so glad to have found a good one so close to home. We ordered gyoza, seaweed salad, and three sushi rolls. It was so good! Definitely recommend!
