Dined here based on raving reviews from my coworker. As far as the sushi goes, i have nothing to complain about. I'd say it was good and worth the price. We also got the calamari and poppers, which were ok. Nice atmosphere, we ate in the bar.

I think this is one of the best sushi places in the Caldwell /Nampa area. It's not typical sushi, it's a bit different than I know but most sushi in Idaho is this way except for one place that I like to go to in boise. What I like here is their calamari which is one of the best I've had in Idaho. If you go and it's happy hour (in the afternoon) you can get half price spicy tuna rolls. If you like spice just ask him to put extra jalapenos in there because their tuna is not chopped up with Sriracha in it. I just get Sriracha mayo on the side and they actually put little spurts of sriracha on my plate around the sushi roll. I also like their house salads pretty good. The ambiance is really cool and there is always good music playing when I stop by. All the servers I've had were very friendly and hold nice conversations with you.
The first time I came here everything was amazing. I came again last night and was really disappointed. My food took so long (about 45 minutes-1 hour) I ordered 2 rolls and miso. My rolls not only were small but there was barely any fish and the end pieces had no fish at all. I essentially paid for rice. I was still hungry after eating but considering how long the food took the first time, I didn't order more, like I had intended to. I left and ended up going to taco bell afterwards. I probably will not be back. The amount of time it takes me to drive to caldwell I could have driven to boise and had all you could eat at a better establishment for lesser price for me to still be hungry.

I personally think they way overcharge for small sushi rolls. They took forever even though they were not busy. When we got our jalapeño poppers the bacon around them was cold. I spent over 80 dollars on sushi expecting to take 40 dollars worth of food home. I went to my car ran back inside when I realized I forgot my food (a total of 5 minutes) and they had already thrown my food away. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.
