White Dog Brewing Co. - Caldwell

White Dog Brewing in Caldwell is hands-down one of my favorite spots for great beer and even better food. Every time I go, I have to order either their Vanilla Cream Ale, which is dangerously smooth and easy to drink, or the Blood Orange Hefeweizen, which is perfectly crisp and refreshing. They nail both flavor and balance every single time.

Their food menu is just as impressive. I’m obsessed with the Beer and Bacon Burger… juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. The Cajun Cod Fish Tacos with pickled cabbage and chimichurri sauce are fresh, zesty, and packed with flavor. And when I want something a little more filling, the Chipotle Chicken Wrap always hits the spot.

Between the great vibe, friendly staff, and consistently top-notch food and beer, White Dog Brewery is a must-visit in Caldwell. Can’t recommend it enough!

I always enjoy coming into White Dog! The beer is solid—I’m a big fan of the Irish Red, and it’s my go-to every time. The food is just as great—my girlfriend can’t get enough of the shotgun shells. Great vibe, friendly staff, and consistently good experiences. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

I’ve been coming here for about a year and I love this place. The staff is great and the beer is always cold! Try the fish and chips with the Mexican Lager…. Bliss.

Always a great time. Food is amazing and they have GF buns and corn tortillas and plenty of salad and protein. Their Cesar salad is amazing! Dressing, fry sauce, and fries are in house made. Meat is smoked! Fries are cooked in beef tallow. I mean come on, fresh food all around. And the service? Unbelievable! Servers are always friendly. They welcome you, take care of you and always tell you to have a great night. So many servers that are so welcoming that we keep coming back. To be honest, as if I wasn't - I have never seen anyone in a bad mood. This place is a rare gem in a rough society and you are missing out of you haven't been here before! There aren't many places like this left. It is a small town feel in a growing society. Come on in and enjoy!

We have been here numerous times and it’s always excellent. The beers are great, the Porter is my absolute favorite. The food is much better than your average “pub” fare. We’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have really enjoyed it all; great, thoughtful flavors. The staff are always friendly and attentive. White Dog has become our go-to in Caldwell.

Great spot for beer and food!

I have been going to the White Dog location in Boise for a long time and have always had a nice experience. I went to the Caldwell location for Father's Day and was severely disappointed. First when my wife asked for a high chair for our 1 year old, she was told that they are in the corner and she could go get one herself. Then while we were eating our food, the server sat at a table with what appeared to be her friends with her back turned towards us for the duration of our meal. When my wife wanted more water we had to flag the server down for her friends to see so they could tell her we needed her attention, and once I went up to the bar to get the water for my wife, the server had only filled the glass up half way. It seemed that this server was doing everything she could to make our experience at the location as difficult as possible. My wife is a black woman and I feel like she was singled out with this incredibly poor service. Shame on you, White Dog.
