My husband’s truck broke down by Cougar Mountain Lodge. When we walked in to get out of the cold and figure out our next steps in a warm space, the manager gave us something warm to drink and was just so kind and welcoming. I truly appreciate her hospitality during a stressful time. She let us use the landline to call someone to pick us up. We ended up ordering food while we waited for our ride, and the fries, chicken fingers, and mozzarella sticks were delicious! If we had to get stranded anywhere, I’m glad it was next to Cougar Mountain Lodge.

After a girl's day on the water we stopped in for dinner. We dined on the patio. Prime rib sandwiches were delicious. Amber was very friendly. The covered wagon booths inside were very unique and cozy. Get out of the traffic and stop at Cougar Mountain Lodge for a meal or snacks. Support local business!

Sat outside to eat with our dog . Small River view. A little dirty out there. Inside was cleaner with a cut country store. Had a chicken casadilla and fries which was enough for two people and was good. Grand son had a double double which he enjoyed.

Stopped for lunch on our way from Riggins to Stanley, Idaho. Food was great and the service was even better. Madi was friendly and so sweet. Worth the stop and highly recommend!
