This place is wonderful! It's a great stop on a beautiful drive. The decor is awesome as it's like taking a step back in time. A couple of tables have the covered wagon look and lanterns that light up. We went on a beautiful Fall day so the leaves out the back porch door were stunning. It felt like we were just out in the country. The food was good as everything we ate had a homemade sense to it. Looking forward to visiting again!

We enjoy cougar mountain! The food is amazingly good! The atmosphere is a wonderful rustic mountain eatery. I've read some of the soured reviews and am disappointed that some of these folks are not understanding of a small business located in a mountain town cannot keep a large inventory on hand. What they do is amazing. We grateful that they are here. And of course, the staff makes for a very enjoyable meal. Thanks cougar mountain!

Excellent all the way around we came in a dusty mess after a 400 mile ride on our 4-Wheelers stopped here for a hamburger it was amazing the best tasting around, this place actually cares how they feed you, the staff are just down home people. Definitely recommend stopping here.
An old-fashioned country with everything from fishing tackle to milkshakes. Stop in for a slice of homemade pie with soft serve ice cream on top.

Haven't been here since the early 90s, but it hasn't lost any of its charm or good food! I love looking out the back windows at the scenery and enjoying their good food and friendly hospitality. We shared a cinnamon roll and loaded hash browns and they were both delicious.Kid-friendliness: Very laid back cafe! Kids will love it.

Idaho has some very unique restaurants, none more than Cougar Mountain Lodge.Here, the prime rib dinner is one of the best I have had in a long time. If you make it there, you'll be knocked by the atmosphere and service. Well done, guys.
