Very friendly staff, accommodating, Checkpoint Topas Bar was great. Not usually what you'd expect in a small town hotel. Will definitely be staying here again.

A Superbly prepared and constructed meal.
Steak cook to order, potatoes and seasonal veggies complemented the steak.
House made blu cheese dressing was first-rate.
Server very professional and personable.

We stayed at Hotel NoBo to celebrate our anniversary and after a long day outside in the cold we opted to eat at the hotel restaurant Checkpoint instead of going out. It turned out to be the BEST decision. We both had the Bison New York strip steak. It was cooked to perfection and so tender. The twice baked potatoes and vegetables were also delicious. I was even impressed with the ranch dressing that had a hint of dill. The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been if the large fireplace had been working after a day in sub freezing temperatures.

Best steak we've had in a long, long time. Sides were excellent, too.

The continental breakfast was better than expected. Everything we tried was delicious. The mother/daughter duo that cook breakfast said everything is fresh, and they try to make something different every morning. Friendly bar tender, helpful front desk. Everything was great.

Food was delicious! Had surf and turf and my husband had the filet. Both were cooked medium rare, exactly how we like. The scallops were like butter and the shrimp was really well seasoned. The twice baked potatoes were yummy as well. Our kids liked their burgers and we were all very happy. Even the appetizer were amazing!

We have property in Cascade but it was our wedding anniversary so we decided to stay at the Nobo as a treat. We went out for dinner and came back to the Nobo at 7:45pm with the idea that we would go to the checkpoint wine bar when we returned. It was closed. We were told by the front desk that it was not busy enough to stay open tonight. My husband and I were very upset because that was one of the reasons we booked our stay here. About 15 other guests were as upset as we were. If your going to advertise hours of 5 to 10pm you need to be open 5 to 10pm. Even the local bar stays open even if there is only 1 customer. I am very disappointed and it ruined our anniversary. The room itself was great. But if you close the wine bar so quickly you might as well get rid of it.

Stayed at the Hilton property NOBO for 2 nights Friday and Saturday. 1st night we were interested in having dinner at the attached restaurant. The menu online looked interesting and there aren't a ton of options in Cascade. We asked the hostess if we could make a reservation for 8:45. She told us it depends on how busy they are. I said don't you close at 10pm, as both the sign on the restaurant and there website state. She told me they close anywhere from 8-10 depending on how busy it is. She spoke with someone in the back and reluctantly agreed to take our reservation. We showed up at 8:45 on the nose. There was not another person in the entire restaurant. We asked to sit outside on the patio and we're told they had closed the patio for the evening. The place had already been cleaned for closing and smelled strongly of bleach and cleaning products. We were seated and given a completely different menu from what is posted online. No tapas whatsoever. We asked for a wine list. When she came back you could just tell she was annoyed by us being there and that we were an inconvenience to her. I decided I didn't want to pay over $100 for bad service when they definitely wanted us to not be there. Luckily we had ordered pizza for our kids and ate it in our room. Disappointed on so many levels. Can't believe this is a Hilton property and that they would allow this to happen.
The hotel on the other hand was very nice!

They closed a full hour before they were supposed to.

The website states it was open however it was not. They need to update their open/close times

Stopped in late on a Thursday because we didn’t want to drive all the way to Donnelly. Didn’t know what to expect but ended up finding a gem. Food was incredible (the cremini! The sliders!!) and service was fast and on point. Dede nailed it with the recommendations! Fancy flavors but very low key, as you would expect for Cascade. Only took stars off for atmosphere because it is in a standard hotel dining area but if you know what to expect, it’s great.

Stopped in finally and had a few of the appetizers since I wasn't in dinner mode at the time but I'll be back. The food was so good. Every morsel was eaten and enjoyed. The staff is friendly and and adds greatly to the experience. Definitely going to heading there more often. Really, really good food. We're so lucky here in Valley County. ♥️
