My husband and I just returned from staying at Warm Lake Campground for two nights, where we also got to experience eating at Warm Lake Lodge. What a GEM! First of all, who expects to be enjoying food from a highly trained chef while in the wilderness? The food and incredibly kind service were amazing - the employees went out of their ways to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. I give this place 5 stars.

Took joy ride up to Warm Lake Lodge, for a late lunch and short walk to the lake. Lunch was delicious and all the servers and guest relations were awesome. Note we did not stay in a cabin but the look really cute and comfortable.

Love seeing what they’ve done with the place. Excellent showers for camp grounds! The food at the lodge is great too. We always came for fries and ice cream :)

We came here on a girls trip weekend for the second year in a row. The first year was great in regards to the cabin, the food at the lodge and overall friendliness of staff. This year was different and I am unsure of what happened. I reached out to the lodge to get a better understanding of why things have changed so much but was not able to get a response. This year, the food was terrible. A few of us had the surf and turf that was supposed to have a Wagyu steak. It was dry and I can only assume it was microwaved to order. A few had burgers that were cold on the inside. The chef they had last year was phenomenal, they. must not have him any longer. Hopefully they can get the food/menu back in order. Our cabin said it would accommodate 11 but only had dishes for 4. And we ended up needing to request more trash bags, tp, etc. The shower leaked all on the floor so we had to use multiple of the towels to make sure that was dry. The cabins are nicely done otherwise and it was nice to have the fridge and kitchen area. The lake is amazing as always and it is nice to have such easy and quick access to the lake.Overall a beautiful area. But if the food situation remains the same, we likely would prefer to go up the street a bit to North Shore Lodge. Such a difference between this year and last year which is why I was hoping to get a response from the lodge prior to writing a review. :)

New smaller menu in 2023. While there aren't as many choices as there used to be, everything was good. We had the lodge burger and smoked carrot hummus, which was delicious.

Stayed for two nights in cabin 7 with two daughters, a son-in-law, and grandson.Easy to get to—beautiful drive through the forest. The setting is intimate and quiet. I liked the grass areas, multiple campfire rings, picnic tables, horseshoes, and being completely unplugged. The only complaint would be that some of the windows weren't functional—either nailed shut, or with broken screens. The temperatures were perfect, but if you come in the heat of the summer, I suggest bringing fans—especially for the loft. All in all, a wonderful first experience! We’ll be back.Rooms: It was nice to have a bedroom with a door for our grandson, since he goes to bed early. We were able to stay up and play games! The kitchen had minimal dishes & cookware, so I suggest bringing all you need if you’ll be cooking.Nearby activities: The lake is just a short walk and was like glass in the morning, which made it perfect for paddle boarding. (Wake crafts aren’t allowed until 11a). Not very busy during the week. Also went to nearby hot springs, which were easily accessible, clean, and hot! Multiple natural pools with varying degrees of heat.Food & drinks: Had dinner at the restaurant—a bit pricey, but surprisingly good. The service was great—they didn’t hesitate to accommodate our vegetarian daughter.Noteworthy details: Perfect setting for a family reunion, since cabins 1-5 all face a large grass area. The campsite area looks nice too—lots of grass! So high & low budget options.

If you’re going and want cell service, you aren’t going for the right reasons. Warm Lake is quiet, relaxing and has incredible views. We were lucky enough to get a last minute cancelled reservation and we can’t wait to go back. Loved everything about this little place.

Peachy keen. But we stayed in the FS campground next door, not the lodge. Walked to the lodge yo buy beer and ice.

Had a cabin that sleeps 11 yet there was only table and dishes bath etc. For 4. Only had beds for 11. Their advertising needs to meet the full accommodations stated for when you bring your family and expect to be Ble to cook and eat for 11. You will need to bring g all your kitchen supplies for bowls k Ives pots etc. Only have small everything. Cabins do stay warm with the heater. Stair to go to bedrooms is super steep. Loved nature and the grounds. They do have a nice restaurant and tiny store. Beer is apparently abundant for sale more than food supplies. That's crazy. Fridge was full of it for sale when there should have been basic food essentials, butter cheese milk etc.
