First time there, went for dinner. Remodeled nicely inside, clean, great atmosphere for everyone including families. Menu is diverse and food was very good. Lots of people getting takeout, so another positive sign about the food. Full bar too. Will be back often!

My wife and I try and go every couple of weekends because the people are so friendly and the food is excellent. The breakfast crew really makes us feel like regulars, and it's awesome coming in during the evening and still being recognized with a smile. They take excellent care of us, to the point we've been to breakfast places while we're down in Boise and complained to one another that we miss breakfast here at Whistlestop.
Kid-friendliness: The staff have repeatedly let us choose what kid's movies or shows are playing to make sure our two year old son has as great a time as we do!
We were seated quickly and all the staff was kind and helpful! A fun little place to eat when you are traveling through. I tried the pizza cone and loved it. My Cherry Pepsi was made to order and had the perfect balance of cherry to soda! Thank you all so much for a wonderful time. I needed it!

staff was incredibly rude, threw menus at us and then proceeded to yell at us that our party was too big and could not set in us in front of the entire restaurant. Will never eat here again.

Was greeted when I walked in and seated in a timely manner period The server was courteous and presented the menu to me. After deciding on my beverage I was given a couple minutes to decide on what I was to eat. I ordered the pretzel bites with beer cheese and then ordered a Philly cheese steak Pizza on what they call deep dish crust The pretzel bites and beer cheese were very good. When the pizza came out it looked better than it tasted. The steak was overcooked and dry. There was a fair amount of cheese on the pizza. There was a decent amount of vegetables on the pizza. The crust had a nice taste and texture but, to me was not a deep dish pizza. My server asked if I wanted some ranch dressing for the crust and I asked for marinara. She brought me some marinara and as soon as I tasted it something was way off. The sauce tasted like straight tomato paste with a little bit of water. It had very little seasoning and was just so bland. When I was asked how I felt about the marinara I was honest and said it was very off. When I said that the server seemed like she was offended because I was being honest. The only part of the meal that I truly enjoyed was the pretzel bites with beer cheese. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Terrible food! Bland, bland, bland! The clam chowder was thick like gravy and tasted sweet, yuck! Service sucked! The atmosphere was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves or the waiter. Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of food.
