The service was terrible, the waitress forgot our drinks and we had to ask for them after the fact. The hash browns were a mix of frozen and fresh grated, the chicken fried steak was sort of ok. I’m picky and don’t like cube steak when used to make chicken fried steak. The rye toast was cold. Sorry I know it’s a local favorite and I try to find something good about one thing but this one fell very flat

Good breakfast but with a side of RUDENESS . Went for breakfast trying to avoid chain restaurants and stumbled across this place. Female server was very rude and snappy, rbf matched someone for once. If you can put up with someone being rude to your face with no care for some good food and portions this is your place, not mine.
