Locals treated us like we were locals. Very friendly. We'd be back

Food and drinks: Probably the Best Burger I’ve ever had. 1/2 lb of flame broiled beef with garlic aioli and fresh fixin’s! Definitely Noteworthy.

I didn’t stay in the motel but it’s on the same property on Main Street. I sat outside on a beautifully balmy October evening and enjoyed every minute

If the other place is booked, this is a decent second option. The food is good. The staff is friendly. It is a small motel but recently renovated.

Food and drinks: This is the hot spot in a small town.

Food and drinks: If you want a decent meal, eat somewhere before you get to Challis, ID. Overpriced, poorly managed, badly prepared food at the Roadhouse. Sadly, the only option to eat in this one horse town.

Outstanding tasty burgers and fries. I had the Marie's Garlic Burger. Amazing,

Food/Service review only, did not stay in motel. The bartender that answered and took my take-out order was witty and friendly (beard and hat). The cheeseburger and fries, chips and queso were delicious. The juicy burger was cooked perfectly, and toppings were fresh. The french fries reminded me of our delicious county fair fries (western ny, not NYC). The queso tasted homemade and had the perfect amount of light, lingering heat. Portions were on point.
As I stated above, I got take-out, but the inside of the restaurant/bar seemed very clean and had a good ambience.
It would be a fun place to meet new people and spend some time.
Thanks for a good experience! 9/6/24

Traveling through Challis and 4 of us stopped for dinner. The food was lukewarm and underseasoned. I would suggest looking elsewhere for a decent meal.

They serve surprisingly good. Mexican food at a little place in a small town! As a senior with a small appetite they have no qualms about letting me order off the kids menu and letting me exchange my fries for their good rice!
They have a dance floor and live music most weekends.
One night when they had a three piece Western band a couple from Switzerland passing through were the most amazing western dancers I have ever seen. They danced every dance so we had music and a floor show. How lucky was that!!! A good place to stop!

Food & drinks: Very good chef, each order prepared individually. The fish tacos are delicious! ?

We have wanted to stop here for the last couple of years and finally did. The food was a HUGE disappointment! My husband's hamburger was a burned hockey puck! Wth?! My carne asada fries were literally a few fries (fries are cheap so that's ridiculous) covered in a can of corn with a few chopped tomatoes posing as pico de gallo. Such a simple dish that could have been amazing! The interior vibe is incredible! We came back with family to listen to live music which was great. My margarita was excellent! Next time we will come with cash because it took almost a half hour standing at the bar both times to finally pay our check. This place could be outstanding if they tighten up the food - if you burn something don't serve it - and quicken service.

We were just in the restaurant. This was the best burger I've eaten in 4 weeks. Staff was ultra friendly. Anyone who likes the wild west is in great hands here. Gladly again.

Terrible, room floor was so soft I thought I'd fall through. No hot water in shower 15" TV in 20 foot room with three remotes that most people won't figure out. Wall plug not covered exposed wires, no instructions on key return, pretty loud but not surprised since it's hooked to a bar. Not for me man. My Harley drinking and banging bar flies is behind me.

Well at least they don't deny it, ?. True $92 doesn't get what it used to but damn that place is going to burn down when the bare wires finally spark up.
