After being in the mountains hunting deer for a week, I stopped in to grab a burger while waiting for my tire to be fixed. Man was I surprised. The food was great and the kids working there were very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

I won't be eating anywhere else in town but here for awhile. Sorry everyone else. We had burgers w fries and large red bull infusions. Idk what It was about that burger but dang! Words couldn't explain it. No joke I hopped back in my truck unwrapped this monster burger and took a bite. Was so good I forgot about everything going on and drove off munching down this thing. Didn't even realize I dipped out on paying them for my diesel tell I got home that night.
Thanks again for handling that whole gas and go deal so nicely too. Super nice owners. Def got a life long customer here!

We’ve ate at the Village Inn Restaurant in Challis a few times and the food has been ok. This time around we wanted to try something different so we stopped at the Speed Goat. I actually liked the food at The Speed Goat better! The Big Horn burger was good and the jojos (potato wedges) were good too. Pros: The food Cons: There were quite a few workers standing around, yet the tables were dirty and needed wiped off. Please clean the tables. For a place called the Speed Goat, it’s not that speedy, but the wait wasn’t too bad for us. Overall, we’ll probably come again!

You know the low-quality food you get at gas stations or truck stops that has been sitting under heat lamps for who knows how long? That's what this food tastes like! I paid over $7, including tax, for 3 chicken strips which seemed slightly larger than a McNugget. Dried out! Asked for another side, and I was told it would take 20 minutes but they had fries available. Fries were dried and gross. Nothing was cooked fresh while I was there. I think it's thawed and heated.

Surprisingly tasty food! This is a recent addition to the already super chill and friendly Kimble Oil gas station in Challis. Best fries in town.. good shakes or hand scooped Ice Cream too. Also attached service station helps with a flat tire or other inconvenience on your travels. Make this a stop on your way through town!

Super negative vibe. All teens running it and not paying attention to customers. Took over an hour to get 4 burgers and a chicken tender, made and out the door no drinks and no frys. The chicken tenders are rubber and don't even feel cooked. Burgers are sub par at best. The boy was very rude about their menu was different from what we read outside to what they have inside. And then had no manners or customer service at all. As well as making food with no gloves on, picking garbage up off the floor and proceeded to continue touching the food with out washing his hands or putting gloves on. Will not be coming back.
