We were looking for an ice cream treat while traveling today and took the exit into Pocatello. All the regular fat food places did not look appealing. Then we saw Freddies. Having never been there and seeing they had something that resembled ice cream(custard), we decided to give it a try. It was the best! We had never had custard before, but it puts ice cream to shame! We also decided to try some chicken strips. They were the best chicken strips we have ever eaten. I know...

So. Many. Fries. Those were definately the best part of the meal. They were tiny little shoestring fries and my medium sized combo meal had what felt like a big serving of them. I don't think I even was able to finish all of them. The veggie burger was mushy and bland.

We love Freddy's Fry Sauce, and we drive across state just to get it. Today in particular, it was a very long 10 hour day of driving, waiting, and hardship to get to the Pocatello location. We were hoping to get six bottles, but availability dictated that we could only get 5. The worker was very kind, and substituted a bottle for a healthy serving of individual fry sauces, which absolutely made our day. I highly recommend the location, and I commend the drive thru runner!
