I loved this place…. Past tense. I know ownership has changed so I’m not sure if that has something to do with it. The first issue that came up was when I tried to get my family hot chocolates before we went to my brothers football game. We’ve always gotten hot chocolates from Soda Barn and they’ve been absolutely amazing. This time they tasted like hot water. So I went back and asked if we could simply just add more flavor to them. The staff were unbothered, dismissive, and quite frankly rude. Even if they simply said they couldn’t do it, I’d understand. I’d be disappointed but I get it. Instead, they didn’t seem to know what to do, and even seemed upset they had to do anything at all. I then watched two of them sit on stools while the one from the drive thru window remade my hot chocolates. Leaving the long line in the drive thru just sitting.
The second time I had an issue was a few days later when I went through the drive thru, waited what seemed like forever, and then wasn’t even talked to at the window. Simply took my money, gave me my drinks, and closed the window.
I gave them another chance! After all I’ve loved this store since the original owners opened years ago. I was on my way to Soda Springs for work and wanted to stop for a drink before I left. It was 8:05 am. I went to walk inside because the stickers on the door said that they opened at 7:30 am Fri-Sat. When I went to open the door it was locked. The staff looked at me, turned their backs, and moved on. Didn’t say a word or try to communicate at all. I later learned they’ve changed their hours to open at 8:30, but the stickers on the door were wrong. Not a big deal but the way the staff has treated me the past three times is enough to lose my business forever.

This is a hard one I do love this place went to the one in Idaho falls today. To grab a drink with a friend she has never went here before. I have 5 dollars off my drink and wanted to use it. I told her that. Well long story short she she didn’t use use it. The girl at the window didn’t know what she was doing. Didn’t get to use my 5 dollars rewards. I don’t know if I will go back. If the kids don’t know how to redeem your rewards before you pay. Maybe the kids need more training. Every other soda shops I go to do the phone number and use the rewards and apply to the order.

The soda is a slam and slurping delicious as always! LOVE the care in offering a pup cup. Wish the wait line was quicker and my cup wasn't sticky when given to me. Otherwise, we LOVE the place!

I love soda barn but the last few times I’ve gone in… it’s been incredibly slow to get my drinks … and not because it’s busy but because the workers in there are goofing/messing around. Acting very much like: oh, obviously high school kids work here. Just very unprofessional and frustrating…I would rather drive the extra minutes to go to the other location for how awful the customer service was at the chubbuck location.

I've always been a soda barn customer, but after the last few times there, I won't be going back for awhile if at all. very unfriendly staff more times than not. drive thru takes FOREVER to get through no matter how many cars. Tonight's experience was the last straw for me. they gave me the wrong pretzels, and I told them it was wrong. they got me the right ones, but then handed me my drink and asked if I needed a straw. after giving me my straw they acted as if my order was complete when we had ordered cookies. I had to tell them everything on my order and they acted irritated I wasn't leaving without the correct order. service has gone down drastically lately and the drinks are getting to be sub par.
