The Cedars is our favorite restaurant on the p,ante! The ambiance is wonderful especially now since Lynette, the manager, added beautiful lighting to all the tables! The lights shed just the right amount of light on the table and are stylish. When we first walked in the restaurant, we noticed the Christmas snowflake lights in each window, but then the table lights caught our attention. Absolutely elegant! The food, the staff (thank you, Mel, for your fabulous service), and the ambiance make for a wonderful evening.

Really cool place. Sitting on the water at a windows seat was super special. We were also celebrating my wife's birthday and they went the extra mile to make sure we were doing good and at the end of the night they gave her complimentary ice cream. Food was fantastic, speeding and filling! Loved this place will 100% be back

We've eaten here many times and it is one of our favorite places in Coeur d'Alene. The kitchen staff must have been somewhat short as it took much longer to get our meal. We were there at three on a Sunday afternoon.

Traveling through Coeur d’Alene, we found this beautiful spot with a view. We did not have reservations but we were fitted in and served anyway. We had a great dinner on the terrace, with a view of the lake during sunset. We got the fish bowl cocktail 🍹 and the Daiquiri mocktail, and the Chicken Alfredo, risotto and the Cedar Plank Salmon, as well as crab cake and salad bar, and all tasted amazing. The server was nice and polite. If I had any suggestions-it would be to upgrade their bathrooms to match the excellent experience.

We had the scallops and seafood risotto, both dishes were excellent. The salad bar was very good, offering a variety of vegetables, toppings and dressings to build a salad to your taste. Our waitress was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The environment was comfortable and offered a beautiful view of the lake.

The location on the water was really nice. The filet mignon and prime rib was cooked perfectly. Both entrees were tender and juicy. Our cocktails were mixed very well although a little pricey. The chocolate mouse and carmel desert was amazing. Our service started out good but then slowed down for the entree.

Food was very good and reasonably priced. There is a nice view of the lake. Staff is attentive. There was a nice salad bad that came with the entree. I had fried chicken which was very good. My Wife had the salmon which she liked a lot.

Came on a Saturday night, and they were able to get us a table 30 minutes earlier than our reservation! The salad bar was great and the staff were very friendly. The location is super cool — try to get a table along the windows!

I never send food back, but today was an exception. I had their Filet Burger, and it was the all-time worst meal of my life. The beef looked like beef, but it crumbled into powder in my mouth, and tasted like ground-up cardboard. No beef flavor at all and zero fat content. They have adulterated the beef, I assume, because food prices have skyrocketed. Cedars is part of the Hagadone group, which is a high-class company, making this even more disappointing. I am allergic to cheese so I ordered it without cheese, so I assume they rely on the cheese to cover up the terrible consistency and flavor of the "meat." Unacceptable!

Went there for the view and was stuck in a tight corner with a very small table. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and was highly disappointed. Food was just ok and service was great. We did have a reservation

This was the best meal we had on vacation and we had some really terrific meals! Not only was the food fantastic, but the staff were amazing! You cannot beat the view. We dined in the out door dining room and found lots of room between the tables, felt very private and well laid out.

This is an outstanding restaurant. We go there every time we visit the area. The food is always excellent and salad bar is great! Service is always friendly and professional as well as efficient.
