Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Don’t succumb to the woke ideology. There are a lot of people, especially in Idaho, who don’t subscribe to this nonsense. Why fix it if it ain’t broken.

I use a cane and need two knee replacements. We asked to be seated near the front of the restaurant since I had trouble walking. The man who seated us ignored the request and seated us near the back even though we walked by multiple tables that were clean and not being used. The waitress was great and the food was good but not happy with the host.

Won't go back until they bring back the man in the chair and the barrel. They took away the old timey feel it had. I see it now as another canceled culture. 😞

Well, I’m very disappointed in the menu changes that have happened. There are not a lot of good choices. There’s no eggs Benedict. There’s no crêpes very limited mostly pancakes and waffles and French toast. So I ordered a breakfast that had a side of biscuits and gravy, and the gravy is not even edible. It tasted like starch And I couldn’t even eat it. Last time I was here I was pretty disappointed as well and so I thought we’d give it one more try as I really like the country store and how can they screw up breakfast? Well, they did. I heard since they had a new CEO that things have really gone downhill. This restaurant is almost empty so it won’t be long and they’re not gonna be around any longer.

The food at this location is becoming more and more like cafeteria food. The wait staff is inattentive and doesn’t give even the basic needs like napkins and refill the water without you having to ask for it. I got a tablespoon of gravy on my mashed potatoes and the grilled chicken tenders had a bizarre greasy taste. Definitely not worth eating. The gal who waited on my and my grandson was more worried about clearing tables then serving paying customers. My grandson was looking forward to pancakes but they were not fresh or even close to it.
I love Cracker Barrel, get you stuff together.

Food was cold. Waited 25 minutes to be seated?, when we were told it would only be a 10 minute wait. 8 tables open and no one being seated. All total wait time for food and to be seated was 45 minutes

First time here and we came for breakfast, it was delicious 😋. We got the blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon and biscuits. Everything was amazing, my mom loved the biscuits and said they reminded her of her grandma's. Will definitely be coming back.
