Crafted Tap House + Kitchen

This place was a 5/5 gastro pub 3 years ago. Now it’s a shadow of its former self. Service has taken a nosedive. Food quality too. Last time I was there, 3 employees were hanging around watching sports at their own bar. 1 teenager was sweeping, bussing, taking orders, and delivering our check. And doing a very poor job at it! My burger was dry, bun was stale, and meat overcooked (do they even know what medium rare means?) And the garlic fries were so overcooked I couldn’t eat them. Mind you this used to be my FAVORITE place in town. But it’s more unreliable than McDonalds as far as food quality is concerned. They must have lost their best chefs at some point.

The programming they have running on their TV’s is abysmal lowest common denominator trash. Wine selection is a joke. The turtle races Friday nights are great though!

Wish this was a 5 star review, they definitely would have earned it in 2022! As you can see from recent reviews, this place has totally fallen off into mediocrity. If you want consistent good meals go to Moontime! You’ll get better service too.

I had the biggie with no avocado. I really enjoyed the hamburger. I asked for. I asked for no salt on my fries because of my heart issue. They could not follow through. My friend had the special of the night which was a salad grilled cheese and some sort of a tortilla soup. She ended up eating the grilled cheese and the salad. She said the tortilla soup was too spicy, I tried it although I like really hot food it was not hot to me. I did not like the flavor at all. It tasted like watered-down chil with a few Fritos thrown on top.
The chairs are made out of rebar and 2 * 4 not very comfortable at all.

Our food experience on Monday afternoon at Crafted was fantastic, and would probably visit here again based on the taste of our delicious burger, Bahn mi sandwich and the sweet potato fries. All were wonderful. The service, however was not. Our server came to our table one time to take our order. We asked for ranch dressing, which we never received, we had to ask someone to go get her for our check after a lengthy wait, and then we had to ask for a box. She never came back to refill our drinks, offer desert, take another beer order etc. With food prices on the higher end it is reasonable to expect decent overall service and acknowledgement.

My experience with this establishment was fantastic! Not only was my food delicious but the staff were prompt and kind. But what really took the cake was I am from out of town. I was in Coeur d’Alene for a work trip and I left my expensive pair of prescription glasses on our table. I live in Washington and they were amazing and shipped my glasses back to me! I’ve never known for a restaurant to go that above and beyond! I will be back!

We were in Idaho on vacation, it was recommended that we try Crafted Tap House. The staff was fantastic, both the front staff but the kitchen staff were amazing. The atmosphere was really good. But the food was really out of this world. I highly recommend this place to anyone! I not only speak as a customer but also as a former chef. They get 5 stars from me!

We visited crafted on August 23, 2025 based off of a friends reference. The food was excellent. I got the number 42 and added bacon and it was cooked just right. My wife Mill was also very good and we both enjoyed snacking on it. What made the Visit top notch was the service by David the Australian guy. I have eaten at over 100 top-notch restaurants in the Spokane in Coeur d’Alene areas. David Service was better than any other place. I’ve been including high-end steakhouses and other fancy places. He went out of his way knew the menu great suggestions and continually checked up on us and make sure we are happy. If I can give your restaurant 10 stars for Service, I would and you guys should be thankful and give David a raise because that guy was how to be a server. Hands-down, the bomb.

Great food. The Bah Mi (with Tri Tip), also called the Chuck Norris, is fantastic. My family enjoyed the pasta with Cajun chicken. Best part is an extensive beer selection and the service and knowledge by the bartender was impeccable.

Went in for some drinks. They told us to sit at the bar with our THREE year old. We asked them if they have a table available and they wouldn't give us a table at all since we weren't eating. Save your money and go somewhere competent. We will never be back and we used to love this place.
