Great place. Higher end casual dining. Could wear a sport coat. Could wear golf shirt and hat. Great atmosphere. I prefer the booths , even for two people. For four it's especially cozy and a bit romantic. Salad portions are huge and def shareable. No espresso machine for coffee afterwards. Good wine menu. Good cocktail menu. Deserts are HUGE.
Recommend. Resort and ambiance are tops for area. If parking in garage, make sure you get garage ticket stamped by hostess. Then bring card to valet to program your exit or you won't be able to get out.
Parking: Need to validate parking after dining.

The restaurant itself was beautiful and the views over the lake were stunning; unfortunately however, those were the only positives of this experience. The food was of average quality, I had the clam chowder and a sandwich but our waitress made the entire experience poor. Inattentive to our needs and overall snotty, we all had the feeling we were nothing but an inconvenience to her. Had a better interaction with the host who found our seats than the entire meal we spent with the waitress. Good service makes a meal memorable even if the food is forgettable but poor service leaves an aftertaste more unpleasant than the chowder.

Went for the Gooey. It was good but overrated. I had the Reese's Peanut butter. Loads of ice cream, peanut butter, chocolate, whole Reese's Cup and whipped cream. More than a single person should consume in one sitting. I would recommend sharing one, otherwise it gets expensive and each person takes a container home.

Food was awesome! Service and atmosphere was even better. 5 stars in all accounts and only one 5 star review of food for me ever. This was a close 2nd 5 star I've ever left and just couldn't break my record

Must have been the time we dined. (After lunch and before dinner), but not the best meal I have had there. Ordered the Ahi and it was not warm like a quick sear, but cold and the noodles it was served with were rubbery and tasteless. The baked potato was obviously left over from the night before. Our server was new but did fine. Not sure why our meal was brought out before we were finished with our salad. Guess I should have requested it be brought later. I have dined twice before, once for dinner and once for lunch, and it was a very positive experience. So disappointed this time.

Dockside Restaurant in Idaho is a fantastic dining experience! The location right on the water offers beautiful views, creating a relaxing and scenic atmosphere that enhances the meal. The menu has a great selection of fresh and delicious dishes, from seafood to classic American fare, all prepared with high-quality ingredients. The famous Gooey dessert is a must-try—it's a sweet indulgence that perfectly caps off the meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you feel well taken care of during your visit. Whether you're stopping in for a casual lunch or a special dinner, Dockside is a perfect spot to enjoy great food with an unbeatable view!

Food was overall very boring and expensive. Wings were mushy. Crab cakes were good. Our waiter did well for it being his first day, but no restaurant should put a new server ALONE on a table of 20. He couldn't keep things straight - I don't know how any new waiter could.
We also got our tickets stamped for the parking -the machine ate the ticket as we left and we were stuck at the gate with no way out. Sat there for 10 minutes while we called for help. Restaurant host was sweet when we called, but couldn't get valet to come to us. Called front desk of hotel and were told the same instructions that didn't work the first time - somehow got out that time.
Definitely not worth the visit overall.
