Elmer's Restaurant (Coeur d'Alene, ID)

If you want a great, decently priced family dinner, it's here! I mostly go here for the simplicity and traditional restaurant feel. If I can't make up my mind, I go to elmer's

Yummy summer salad with strawberries, apples, bacon and almonds slivers.
Teresa our server was friendly and efficient.

We were so sad this place had changed.
We were here and ate every meal tast year.
Thought we would do that again this trip but one meal changed those plans completely.
Erik is still a great manager and customer service representative. Handled everything that needed to be fixed, just was a bummer about the food and a bad waitress.

Elmer's always has good food, generous portions and fairly good service. No matter where I go, the food is always great and I'm never disappointed with my meal. I definitely recommend eating here.

Excellent breakfast with huge selection. Prices continue to be reasonable. Quality is good and portions are of a good size. We love the place.

I hadn't been to Elmer's Restaurant in a few years, mainly because of the location and basically forgetting it was there. I am so glad that my family and I went there for dinner last night! The food was so good! We all loved everything, especially the crepes for dessert!
Everything was made in a very timely manner with obvious care and effort (unlike some other chain restaurants in the area) and the staff were wonderful and attentive. We are definitely going back soon because there are so many dishes we want to try and the prices are pretty good. I HIGHLY recommend Elmer's Restaurant!

Elmers is amazing. The staff is super friendly and always a pleasure to be around. Their portions are definitely enough to fill you up.All of their food is delicious but their biscuits and gravy tastes exactly the way my mom makes it! And since she lives so far away, it is nice to be able to get some cooking on a regular basis that taste like hers. My mom would be proud. They are extremely busy from time to time, but definitely worth the wait😍

This is just a nice place to eat. Most of the food is standard diner fare, with some specialties like prime rib dinner and giant german pancake. All the food we had seemed like it was made with love by people who cared! The service was genuine and friendly, our waitress seemed like she enjoyed her work and we never went thirsty. Oldies playing on the overhead maybe aims at an older crowd, but who can complain listening to classic crooners? Plenty of room made it seem like we were the only ones there. We had a great time and great food. Only complaint is its in Idaho, so we had to drive a bit. :D

We used to love visiting Elmer's but it had been a long time since we had and this time was a bit of a disappointment. The food was just mediocre and bland.
