This may be the best espresso I have ever had.

Awesome service, low-key and uncluttered seating area, with a great atmosphere. I'll be back.

Wonderful flat white; milk was steamed very well, not thin or watery, just a little too hot; coffee had a nice flavor overall. If you are particular about your coffee like we are, highly recommend going here in Coeur'd'Alene.

Best espresso in town hands down. Coming from Portland, the bar has been set quite high, so it was a joy to find fine crafted brew and great atmosphere right downtown!

Love these guys. Whether it's the CDA or Sandpoint location, they have great staff and delicious coffee. Their specials are always amazing and I'm never disappointed (except when they run out of cherry cider 😀). We are huge fans!

Wow! This is my favorite spot in all of CDA for a treat and coffee. My iced mocha was unreal—so rich and full of flavor. I also tried two hand pies, the huckleberry and peach-huckleberry, and they tasted just like homemade pop-tarts. I’m completely obsessed and will definitely be coming back!

The barista was very pleasant and gave some excellent suggestions. The café also has a quiet, cozy vibe that makes it perfect for relaxing.

We discovered Evan’s brother’s coffee through a recommendation for a waitress in Sandpoint. The light roast
Coffee was good but the dark roast was quite bitter. My wife had a latte and she liked it a lot. The breakfast sandwich was an English muffin with egg cheese and ham. We enjoyed our visit and sitting outside in their grass area out front.

I had a wonderful experience at Evans Brothers Coffee. I started with a drip coffee, but they only had enough for a half cup left. But they were on top of it with some awesome customer service and ended up giving me a pour over for only $1 (the price of a refill). I was impressed with their selection and coffee knowledge. I also stopped by their Sandpoint location for an equally great experience.

There’s something instantly welcoming about Evans Brothers Coffee—the kind of place where the baristas are clearly passionate, and the energy is just right for either catching up with a friend or settling in to get some work done. The environment strikes that perfect balance: plenty of seating, clever use of space, and a general sense of calm (bonus points for the sparkling-clean bathrooms and thoughtfully placed power outlets).

Let’s talk coffee—because that’s where Evans Brothers really shines. I tried a few different drinks, and each one stood out. My custom iced drink (oat milk, cinnamon, and honey) was made with care and absolutely hit the spot—refreshing, subtly sweet, and perfectly balanced. I also had a cherry-infused cold brew topped with a thick, luxurious cold foam. The cherry flavor was subtle and never overpowering—not overly sweet or tart, just smooth and genuinely enjoyable.

For me, the real test of a coffee shop is always the cortado. Evans Brothers nailed it. The espresso was rich and savory with none of that bitterness or sourness you sometimes find elsewhere. The milk was just right—not too much foam, not too little. It’s the kind of drink you want to sip slowly and savor.

I did grab a s’mores cookie from the bakery case. Honestly? It didn’t wow me, but I didn’t regret trying it either—sometimes you just want a treat with your coffee.

All in all, Evans Brothers is the sort of local spot that gets the details right—friendly service, great coffee, and a space that feels like it’s made for you to linger. Highly recommend stopping in, whether you’re a local or just passing through.

Grabbed a couple cold brews to go and ended up splurging on some pies and treats they had available. All of it was fantastic. Great atmosphere and layout and seems like a fantastic place to hang out with a friend, get some work done, or just hang out for a bit. Would definitely recommend.

I was traveling by RV and really tired of drinking bad coffee. While in Coeur d’Alene, I googled “coffee shops” and Evans Brothers came up with. Yelp review saying it was the best pourover that person had had. Pourover is my morning meditative ritual, so I was game (and desperate) to try. I had the Sumatra and it was exquisite! Add to that, the gentleman who made my coffee was extremely knowledgeable about the coffee and the pourover process. The couple of times I’ve been able to find a shop with a pourover option, the person making it has just been going by rote with no interest in coffee or coffee making. Evans Brothers is run and staffed by people who know and love coffee. Oh, and the cookies and pastries looked divine. This is the place to go in Coeur d’Alene.

Had a nitro and an ice latte. Both were very delicious! They also had a really good selection of gluten-free and regular pastries and cookies.

Very uncomfortable vibes overall and absolutely disgusting drinks, I work downtown so I was really hoping to find a place to stop in the mornings this will NOT be it sadly
