Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

First time going here with my boyfriend (who’s been here before.) I’ve heard pretty bad things about the restaurant so I tended to always avoid it but it’s what he wanted so we went. The staff was nice and all but they gave him raw chicken. And when the person who I’m guessing was the manager asked how it was they agreed it was raw. He ordered steak well done and got it back medium rare. Overall the food was really bland. Server was on top of drinks though. Still scary to get raw chicken served though. Talked to management they gave us coupons valued all together at 5 dollars but the expiration date says it expires today (the day we went.) they didn’t comp anything, $35 for food we didn’t really like. Probably won’t be back. The extra star is for staff being friendly.

Good choices front desk people were so friendly but this one guy at the dessert area is so rude. I forgot his name but. This would be a five star if the guy wasn’t rude.

We have had both good and bad experiences here and today was the worst. The gal that had our section seemed to be unaware of what was going on around her. We sat with empty drinks most of the time and when she did bring beverages she got them horribly wrong. When asked to correct them she was short and borderline rude. She then began to vacuum right next to us repeatedly hitting the legs to our chairs. The gentleman who was slicing the meat (the big guy) was flat out rude. He rolled his eyes when, after a few minutes of standing there, my husband asked him for help. He cut the meat as thin as he could then tossed down the knife and fork mumbled something under his breath and walked off. We asked to speak to someone in charge and were told there was no management on duty. When we asked our server she gave us a blank stare. I could understand SOME of the behavior had it been a busy time of day but it wasn't. Beyond disappointed. We won't be back. ?

We went to C d'Alene Golden Corral for the advertised prime rib dinner. At 4:30 the dinner started, we arrived just after 4:30. They were serving pork as prime rib. We asked if ity was prime rib and were told it was. It was pork. My date insisted they go find some prime rib to which they went to kitchen and brought her a slice of raw meat. Totally unsatisfied, when the server asked us how our meal was, we told her. The assistant manager came and we told him our story. He brought us coupons valued at 5 dollars. Was a bad meal experience all around. Will not do that again, not going back.

We have been there a lot on or trips back and forth to Spokane and Anaconda MT. We usually have a great meal. But Saturday night we went with the whole family.of 16. Now I don't complain about the cost. But I do want to complain about most of the food. It's not that it was bad. It's the lack of. The Staples like fried Chicken to Mac& cheese. The little things they were out of and didn't stay on top of it. Sorry for the bad rateing but very unsatisfied this weekend.

The food what's good besides the quiche. The price was decent about 9 bucks with seniors prices being a little bit lower. The drink price for a large is about $2.50 for soda. The setting of the buffet is kind of more like a cafeteria than a relaxing restaurant. If you go make sure to sit at the inside tables because once it gets packed it's hard to get out. There's a nice ice cream Sundae there also.

Had a family even today and my family chose your location . of course it is completely packed and we honestly were about to just leave but we drove out of state and was starving . However we didn’t have a single issue and was extremely pleased !! Your server was outstanding Daniel she was constantly taking care of our every need as well as those around us not sure how those girls do it !! and the Manager Marina was impeccable!! I watched that girl vacuum then pick up plates then cook then run up front to cashier took time to talk with us and other customers and then we saw her making cotton candy for our kids !! She never stops !!! none of the staff did we notice lagging everyone was working hard . Regardless of the crazy crowd the food was to die for !! Love the guy cooking steaks !! Not only funny but made mine perfect..my boys also pigged out on the corn dogs and my wife enjoyed the salad bar which was completely full and fresh . I don’t have a single bad word to say so thought I would leave this comment while we drive back to Texas !! This is most definitely our new spot to have our family get togethers . Found out we could reserve the banquet room as well !! Thank you for a memorable evening with family we all left full and satisfied

Too many good things!! Not enough room in my tummy. Our wait person, Allison, did a fantastic job. I am on crutches so she even got my dessert and brought it to me. Thank you, Allison!

no wait but food wasn't very good at all. For Golden Corral not much selection the night i went in. I had taken my daughter out for a special treat. We tried everything but nothing was good. Sadly . I love salad buffets and was looking forward to going too. Was pretty bumned.

I like the restraunt and my family pigged out. I like a lot of people have gluten, wheat and dairy allergies. All i could eat was the salad and fruit area. So it would be awesome if golden corral could add more foods for people with allergies could enjoy and not just salad. Like maybe turkey burgers and gluten free buns, or gluten free mac and cheese, and even healthier desserts and a gluten free cheesecake ect.

Great friendly atmosphere. Good food.

I have not been to Golden Corral in about 20 yrs. We were traveling through town and needed a place we could select food that had gluten free options. We had AMAZING grilled steak. I am not kidding. The flavor, tenderness, everything about it was wonderful. I have been working on my steak grilling since arriving back home and it is still not as good as Golden Corral.

Not bad. Most buffets are old and dry food, or way to crowded they are out of everything. This was a great in between. Everything seemed fresh and hot, and even when they were out of something it took seconds to change to a new pan. Plus kids are cheaper on Tuesdays.

Great food. Surprisingly cheap. Newyork steak was very good
