I had the shrimp caprese, my husband had the French toast, my daughter had the idaho Benedict and her fiance, the biscuits and gravy. The shrimp caprese was all the words and flavors! If you are savory eater, this is the one. Esquisite, and heavenly! If you are a sweets eater, go for the French toast. My husband loved it! We also shared the pork belly as an appetizer. I apologize for not getting more pictures but it was soooo good, we couldn't wait. And you shouldn't wait to get here!

We enjoyed our burgers with French fries — everything was fresh and delicious! However, my son’s quesadilla was a bit disappointing. The chicken was dry and would have been better if cut into smaller pieces. On the bright side, my mother-in-law loved the chicken with whiskey flavor — it was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Overall, a nice experience with room for improvement on the kids’ menu.

Comfort Food Made with Love at Izzy's Comfort Kitchen!

I recently visited Izzy's Comfort Kitchen in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and it was an incredible experience! I ordered the Caesar salad wrap with their house-made garlic aioli and a side of fresh fries. Every bite was seasoned to perfection and bursting with flavor. The wrap was perfectly balanced, and the garlic aioli added the perfect touch of richness. The fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right—fries done to perfection!

Every bite was a taste of love, and you can truly feel the care and passion that goes into their food. It’s the perfect blend of comforting PNW cuisine that leaves you feeling satisfied and happy. 10/10 would eat there again, no question!

I loved the food so much that it’s almost embarrassing. I actually went there with my ex, and now we share custody of Izzy's Comfort Kitchen. We worked out a visitation schedule and everything—I get weekends, they get Wednesdays. It’s complicated, but honestly, I’d do anything to keep this food in my life!

If you’re in CDA and craving delicious, heartwarming comfort food, Izzy's Comfort Kitchen is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back (and I’m willing to renegotiate custody if I have to).

The food here is so fresh and delicious. Unique flavors and friendly staff. Fills up quickly with small seating. Would recommend getting reservations for large groups. Big portions of food as well.

A restaurant may have great chicken fried steak and just ok potatoes. Good gravy but uneventful biscuits. Not Izzy’s!

Everything is good!

Imagine a biscuit that taste delicious without having to smother it with gravy! Or gravy that doesn’t have to be salted to be enjoyed. Every bite of every inch of everything on the plate is delicious!

My wife ordered a Bloody Mary- oh me gosh! It was a meal in a cup. . .

Is perfection sustainable? Oh lord I hope so.

My daughter and I came here from out of state looking for a good breakfast spot. Safe to say this was the BEST breakfast place we’ve both been to in a while. My daughter got the Izzy’s Benedict and said it was hands down the best one she’s had in her life. I got a regular breakfast and the quality of the food most definitely made this the best breakfast I’ve had in a really long time. Extremely impressed and will absolutely go back next time we’re in town!

Excellent food.

The only recommendation I would have is to create some sort of noise reduction in the small restaurant. It can be LOUD and difficult to hear sometimes since it’s one giant room. Sound absorption of some sort on the walls would make a great place even better.

Both of us were raving. Would definitely like to return and try the few other dishes that sounded good. The Virginia Benedict and breakfast sammy were both amazing.

What a wonderful gem! The food was superb and the service was great! You could feel the difference of a family owned and run restaurant as all of the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Will keep coming back!

Chicken is their specialty but everything looks good. If my first meal here is any indication, everything tastes good too!! The service is top notch and friendly. The food is great. And they are busy! This is a must for returning to try other menu items.

Wheelchair accessibility: Tight fit but I am sure the staff will accommodate.
