Oh my goodness gracious. This place has the best donuts I have ever tasted in my entire life. It can’t compare to anything else we have tried. Each donut is crafted for a unique one of a kind flavour. The butterscotch chocolate tasted like a bite back in time. So soft, full of flavor, and melts in your mouth. The ingredients are organic, no seed oils, carefully sourced, and free of dyes which we really appreciated. Thank you for such a wonderful experience Lantern Donuts!

It was a weird experience to have everyone hovering over the donuts with someone being sick and no bakery shield or anything with the donuts just sitting there. we really wanted to try the product, excited, drove an hour and a half, and walked out of line after that. Maybe we will come back if the donuts aren’t hanging out for everyone to stick their hands on, sneeze, or cough on :( but the photos online the product looks great but the handling of the product not very professional or appealing

I have lived in the Coeur d’Alene area, my whole life and never experienced gourmet like the ones made at Lantern doughnut. Not only do they look beautiful, but they taste even better. I highly recommend giving them a shot. You won’t regret it!!

They now rotate flavors every two weeks, and their model just keeps getting better. Priced at $4 for standard donuts and $6 for premium ones, it’s worth every penny. There’s also a chefs-choice $8 option that’s usually a collaboration with another local business — often with multiple components that make it something special. You can tell when intention and love are put into food, and this place does just that.
As if that weren’t enough, I was given a bag of their Yanesha Co-op espresso beans, which they roast in-house — I mean, how much better does a business get?
