I've been going to Las Chavelas since 1992. It's my go-to Mexican restaurant. Vanessa knows what we like. Last night we went in for taco Tuesday, 3 tacos, rice & beans for $10! You can't beat that!!
we go every few months as we dont eat out much but i will say the staff and food are amazing. i have tried multiple plates and all are filling and flavorful. we just went again tonight and loved the carne asada tacos.
As CDA locals we love coming into Las Chavelas! Their food is our favorite in town, but it's also the feeling we get when we go there. The staff recognize you and make you feel welcomed, which makes it so much more enjoyable to go sit and eat. HOWEVER, our love for Las Chavelas has now grown SOOO much more because we had them cater our wedding!
