Had an enjoyable lunch. Their reuben sandwich is delicious. Highly recommend the Tater tots. My date ordered a hamburger that came on a kaiser roll instead of traditional bun. Very nice presentation. Smaller restaurant. Was quiet and had an old pub feel to it. Service was great. Parking tricky due to new construction and busy part of midtown. Paid parking available or free parking on side streets. Will definitely go back.
Kid-friendliness: Not a vibe for younger children. Teenagers would be ok.
Wheelchair accessibility: Limited. Easy access to the front door but not sure about mobility thru restaurant. Narrow areas.

We came all the way from Wisconsin for your tater tots! We aren’t really sure why the tater tots here are so magical, but please don’t change your recipe as they are outstanding! Major shout out to our server, Jacie, who is VERY knowledgeable on what is in the menu items. Jacie and the kitchen staff were able to make sure that my meal was safe for my tree nut allergy, and my Cuban sandwich was just as fantastic as the tots! Very grateful to the locals that recommended we visit Bluebird!

Quaint rustic-chic atmosphere. The service was great, our server was very patient (my family can be a handful). I always feel I’m adventurous until I am at a restaurant with unique menu items I wanted a salad but none really appealed to me, however my Mom had the Smoked Caesar salad and it was very good. She REALLY enjoyed it. I went out that day planing to have Caesar Salad but hearing they smoke the Romaine, I assumed it would have a strong Smokey flavor and be wilted. I was wrong. It was mild and the lettuce still had a crisp. We also had the fish and chips (with halibut). Tater tots and salad. All the ingredients looked and tasted fresh. Definitely recommend if you like a twist put on traditional plates.
Parking: I really don’t know where you are supposed to park. This was our second time going to eat lunch there. Last time I gave up and went somewhere else. This time I took a chance and parked at another business. Limited street parking. I really don’t know where you are supposed to park.
BAD BAD burger is in my humble opinion the BEST burger in the city! Recommend this place to all everyone at my table was happy!!

Just passing through. A local recommended the Midtown Bluebird restaurant. It was busy, small, we had a 20 minute wait, had a cocktail while waiting, had to sit outside while waiting for a table. There were 2 people working the entire bar and dining room. They could not have been more courteous and efficient! We were seated, while looking over the menu the one waitress for the entire dining room took orders, cleared tables, sat patrons, delivered food and drinks. They have an extensive wine menu but do not have a full bar, they have a specialty drink menu. My wife had the Cioppino, I had seafood linguine The food was delivered in a timely fashion. Both of our meals were absolutely delicious. The waitress stopped by our table regularly to check on us. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

So glad we stumbled on this restaurant. The outside doesn't impress, but we were pleasantly surprised once we opened the door. The place was pretty full and vibrant. The food was delicious: Scallops, octopus, linguini, eggplant fries. All on point! I only wish our server would have asked if I wanted another glass of wine. I would have said yes. =)

Jordan our server did a great job. The atmosphere is chill, the food is excellent and flavorful. My wife has some dietary restriction so it’s always a pleasure to deal with someone like Jordan that knows the ingredients and is patient / kind.
We had the charred octopus which has a great presentation and is an excellent combination of flavors. As well the Scallops and slightly spicy fried Chicken sandwich.
Everything is made from scratch including the ketchup :).
Perfect place for CDA!!!
