I had the G-star ramen with an order of Yakitori skewers to-go. The noodles’ texture was nice and chewy, flavorful. I loved how the pork belly and veggies were diced, evenly distributed with every bite. Definitely get broth on the side! The pork broth added the perfectly balanced, savory, umami flavor - very good ? will be back!

What a gem to find here in Midtown area of Coeur d’Alene! Deep, rich broth with a wonderful selection of all different things you can put in your Ramen. Buddha bowls also wonderful. Definitely, check it out!

I have gone to Monarch Ramen for about 5 times this past winter and every time I go I try something new. I have always been surprised by joy. It is also always piping hot, something you rarely see these days. The service is excellent and I am so happy to have stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant and the magic it brings to my palette and my tummy. Fabulous place. Not like what you would find in San Francisco or Japan, but they do a dang good job!

The yakisoba is outstanding. The owners of this restaurant own some of the best in town without a doubt. They have a sushi restaurant as well and an amazing New-American/fusion/f2t called midtown bluebird. If you ever get a chance to try any of them you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Either they don’t know what Pad Thai is or they gave us the wrong order (ordered to go). What I got tasted like Asian beef stew. No cilantro. No peanuts. Weird wide noodles. No salt. Pad Thai is supposed to be sweet, salty, savory, and spicy. This was bland short rib (that were surprisingly cooked perfectly) with some noodles. Like Campbell’s opened up an imitation Asian restaurant in CDA. The girl behind the counter also rolled her eyes at my wife when my wife, having already waited an hour, asked how much longer it would be. I’ve lived in big cities, I can handle rude people behind the counter, but you better stick the landing with the food. Won’t go back.

For being one of the few ramen places in Coeur d'Alene it definitely stands out to me. It has a wonderful cozy atmosphere and service is quick and respectful. The food is wonderful. I've been told a dish or two leaves some to be desired but the ramen has always been delightful

Cute place in Coeur d' Alene. Got the Monarch Ramen and had an appetizer. Both were really good. The egg in the Ramen was delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff there was super nice and very attentive. Definitely coming back for more ramen.

I've been here several times and have never had a negative experience. The staff is friends and attentive without being intrusive. The food is all scratch made, delicious, and time after time the consistency has been spot on.I had the bluebird ramen and was very happy with everything from the amazing chicken to the fantastic broth.

What an amazing gem of a restaurant in Coeur d' Alene! The food was amazing and great selection of beers and cocktails from local breweries and distilleries. Will definitely come back often.

Probably one of the best places I have ever had the pleasure of dining. I had the garden bowl with beef, it was amazing.

Great service and the food is fantastic. I love dry ramen, if you haven't had it, try it. We also had Mao po tofu & Okonomiyaki *CHEF'S KISS*

Pretty good ramen for Couer D’Alene. Build your own ramen is definitely nice if you want something specific. Wide menu, good food, and great service. The portions are humongous. Would come back again!

Love the flavor and dedication to great noodle dishes, I will be sure to try the rest of the menu! I don’t know if my order preferences were mixed up last time, because I requested Udon noodles and received someone thin ramen-type noodles. Udon as I’ve experienced at other establishments are very thick and hearty noodles, so I was really excited to see them on the menu as they’re hard to find in Coeur d’Alene. I hope to have them again soon.
