We had very good meals - caution the Gumbo is super spicy! Great waitress, good prices. Clearly a family friendly place that seemed popular with locals. Not a fancy night out, a good meal in a friendly atmosphere.
We stopped in CDA for an overnight stay. We arrived at lunch time and decided to try Moon Time. We have no regrets. From reviews, we knew the portion sizes were big, so my husband and I shared the sloppy joe. They charged a couple of bucks and plated each of ours separately. The meat sauce was poured over a delicious jalapeño cornbread. The combination of the flavors was delicious. The dish came with a blue cheese salad wedge which was a perfect accompaniment to the sloppy joe....
Moontime is a cozy, laid-back spot with a warm neighborhood feel. The menu has plenty of creative options, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Service was friendly and casual. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to catch up with friends over good food and drinks. Overall, a solid choice in Coeur d’Alene for comfort food with a twist. A CDA Staple.
