If you love sushi, this is your place! I followed the owner from when he was at Fisherman’s on Kathleen, I believe. I’ve had sushi in coastal areas (lived on Whidbey island, near Anacortes, Seattle, Everett areas, frequented Virginia’s coastal areas, California’s coastal areas, & Oregon’s & this food truck rivals them all. Everything is fresh. Service is always spot on. Prices are awesome for the amount of food you get. The wait is entirely reasonable. Food presentation is great. Truly the best hidden gem out there. Whatever your sushi preference, Raw Dead Fish has you covered.
I've eaten sushi from coast to coast, and I never thought a food truck could impress me, but wow, this guy’s got it dialed! His setup is stunning, and the sushi is top-notch. He even snips fresh herbs from a garden right in front of his truck. Didn’t catch his name, but trust me, skip the restaurants in Coeur d’Alene and hit this spot for the best sushi, it’s absolutely worth it!

Very good sushi! Coming from Chicago I honestly had low expectations in finding a good sushi place, so when I saw all the good reviews for here I knew I had to check it out. The reviews definitely check out! The ingredients were super fresh, and we devoured all of the sushi in under 10 minutes! The person who took our order was also very friendly and nice. It’s an area of food trucks, so there is a communal sitting area you can sit at to eat if you don’t want to sit in your car or are doing takeout.
