Raw Dead Fish is SO good! The best sushi! Sometimes I try other places because of hours or convenience… but it never fails… I miss RDF when I do. Their sushi is generously proportioned, excellent quality and firmness and freshness! And the service is always the best! They go out of the way to make sure my order is gluten free (not cross contaminated) and so delicious!!!
Very friendly and created a yummy “surprise me” roll! Thank you!
Just picked up what will be a new go to sushi spot! Fresh + Quick +delicious!
Best little discovery in Coeur d’Alene was this little sushi truck. I had the sushirito and the North Idaho roll. Both were excellent, but especially the sushirito!!! It is so flavorful. It had salmon, tuna, avocado and a cooked carrot! It was fabulously DELICIOUS!! As a Southern Californian sushi lover, who now lives in North Idaho, It was the best! I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!
Note: been back multiple times now with friends. Loved by all. There’s also a little inside seating area and patio seating.

Recommend Bruce Fleet. My favorite thing on the menu. People are very nice here. Loved him like family.

Great customer service always delightful to serve you with amazing food. I was very skeptical about having sushi from a food truck since trying them 4 years ago, but has amazed me on how fresh and delicious everything was when I ordered every time. Must give them a try, you won't regret it.

I’ve been enjoying the offerings from Raw Dead Fish since the company’s inception. RDF is not the only place for sushi in the area but it’s where I go the most for several reasons.
First, it’s knife skill. The pieces are expertly cut and proportioned. Deftness with a knife is critical to proper sushi and it is found in abundance at RDF.
Second's is freshness. Not being on the coast, this is of particular concern and Raw Dead Fish has never let me down. Their consistent and unfailing commitment to freshness and quality is very noteworthy.
The final reason for my long term patronage is the obvious eye for balance shown throughout their efforts. It is seen from menu creation to each piece of nigiri or roll. Balance in ratios of fill to rice, use of sauce and in combination's of flavor building.
To sum it up, knife skill + freshness + balance = great sushi
…and my reason for Five bright shiny Stars.
Cheers, Jeff

Surprise me roll never let's me down and find combinations I might not think to try. Tried the guilty veggie minus the spicy parts, it was absolutely amazing. Definitely ordering that again. I always add wakame which is fresh and crunchy. Employees are friendly with bubbly personalities

Love this establishment and the kind people who work here, and have been satisfied with this place many times. Unfortunately this evening I got a sushi burrito with 4 pieces of hair in it. I recommend you all wear some hairnets…

I was skeptical about food truck sushi, however, it was really good! The truck has lots of character, charm and is professional. There’s fresh herbs, veggies and other plants which well taken care of outside. The service was superb, and they have beepers to alert when order is ready. The sushi was good too! The only issue we noted was the color of the tuna did not seem to be 100% natural (maybe coloring but we can’t be sure). Over all, not bad! I’d do this again, although these 3 rolls cost $44.

It's Saturday evening. It's hot outside, there is a wait and the place is hopping. I get my sushi, take it home and take my first bite. It's always so delicious here! Worth every penny. The sushi is not only a great value, but it's literally the best in the area. I choose this food truck over any sit down sushi place in CDA, easy. Try it! Love it!

This sushi was extremely disappointing! It's been recommended by several friends, but they've obviously never eaten quality sushi. No seaweed paper, too much rice, no roe, a tiny teaspoon of Wasabi, for $16! Ridiculous!

Delicious sushirito and I didn't have to make any decisions. They made it and it was almost perfect. Next time I will do a large even though this was enough for two people. More would have been even more. A place to eat outside would have been great.
