Last night in Coeur dâAlene was a good one, thanks to a great waiter and delicious food. Aaron was a terrific waiter. Coconut Margarita, Brie cheese, and the grilled chicken spinach pasta was amazing.
One of the best dinners weâve had in a long time! From the incredible food to the outstanding service by Codyâeverything was top-notch. My husband and I left feeling so happy with our choice. Weâll absolutely be back!

Best restaurant in CDA. Quaint, romantic interior atmosphere with a beautiful covered patio providing heaters in the winter and shade in the summer. Itâs usually busy, so I recommend doing reservations in advance. I did my bridal shower downstairs in the wine cellar which is perfect for big parties and offers some privacy. Service has always been satisfactory and the food is top notch. Beverlyâs used to be my go-to, but the locals know Satay is the place to go. I catch myself craving the dill-butter bread OFTEN; plus they have good wine selection!

Iâm so grateful that he was working tonight. The food was absolutely incredible. The filet and rock lobster of the surf and terf were so tender. The wontons were delicious and flavorful. The lemon cake and the chocolate covered strawberries were the perfect end to the night. I wouldnât change a single thing. It was perfect. One of the best meals Iâve ever had.

My fiancĂ© works in the oil fields and we have limited time together, I am disappointed that I chose Satay for the one date night we get every few months. Our server was good, food was to die for and this place is very aesthetically pleasing. However, we came on Thursday (08/21 at 8pm) and the hostess working that night (long dark hair, did not get her name) was probably the rudest person I have ever came in contact with at an establishment like this. I requested a general area to be seated at. She completely dismissed what I said and sat us next to the restrooms, which would not have been a big deal if she had said âoh sorry, that area isnât availableâ I then had to request to sit in another booth by our server. Which he had no problem doing and was extremely nice about it. She slammed our waters down without a single word. Not once did we get a smile, when I thanked her, she again said nothing. When you pay $200 for dinner, youâd think that all staff would be nice. Because she was the first point of contact it hindered our experience. I have gotten better service from fast food joints than what she had to offer, and if you donât like working with the public or canât at least fake it, then get a different job.
