Absolutely delicious! Friendly staff! Grandson was blown away by the mochi and the chef was nice enough to try to duplicate his favorite roll from another restaurant in my grandsons hometown. Will definitely be back!
Good sushi, beautiful presentation. Felt like small rolls but they were good!

I've tried every sushi place in town and this has the best sushi, period. 👌 It's not the fanciest place, but a little more boutique. Quaint, clean, comfortable. But if you're looking for the tastiest sushi, this is the jam!!! Try. This. Place. 🍣

I’ve been ordering the same roll here for 3 years, no problem. Suddenly I’m told they can’t make it and “never have.” It’s frustrating to be gaslit after being a regular customer. People have always questioned why I eat here, maybe they had a point. Looks like it’s time to move on.

The atmosphere of patrons seemed like a good vibe. Thats where the good times stopped. Not good sushi. When I try a new Sushi place I always order their best Tuna to see how it is. To my surprise they had O Toro on the menu. I got excited! Unfortunately is wasn't good, no flavor at all was not fresh. Service was well below par. There was one person sitting at Sushi Bar when I walked in - they told me I needed to wait 5 to 10 minutes to sit down at sushi bar when there was 8 open seats at sushi bar and several open tables. I understand pacing but that was ridiculous. The wait staff are young kids with very little sushi knowledge. The sushi chefs didnt even acknowledge me sitting there. It was awkward, almost uncomfortable. 3 is a stretch.

I always enjoy eating here! The salmon skin roll is an absolute favorite. Get it before they sell out daily!

Our server was top notch!. I apologize as I forgot her name. The sushi was good. The rice was a little on the dry side, so the rolls would try to fall apart. It's not a big issue. Soy sauce helped moisten the rice up.
The place was clean. We paid less than we thought we would, which is always good.

I ordered food to go last night 5/24. I ordered a kids chicken teriyaki, a cucumber roll, and an avocado roll, both wrapped in soy paper. I ate the food within 20 minutes of picking it up and woke up today with the most severe food poisoning I have ever had. It landed me in the ER today for over 6 hours due to extreme dehydration from the food poisoning.i truly have never been so sick in my entire life. I now also have an elevated heart rate. My family and I all ate the same food and this was the only thing different that I ate, and no one else is sick. The avocado in the avocado roll had thick brown spots throughout. The cucumber roll tasted fine. The kids meal was alright but the chicken was a little slimy. We usually come here weekly and the staff is always great, but after this experience I can’t ever eat here again.

Sushi I is a great addition to the downtown Pittsburgh dining scene! The atmosphere was excellent, and it’s great to have another rooftop dining option downtown. Great service, and food was a good quality with reasonable pricing options. Im excited to return here with friends.
It was a great time, the service was fast and friendly, my family and I loved the sushi rolls we picked, the Wow!, the Sexy Tuna, and the Tempura Philadelphia. We absolutely loved the miso soup, and we also got a chicken teriyaki entree that was very tasty. We were impressed and pleasantly surprised by the crab rangoons, they were delicious! We were slightly disappointed with the vegetable tempura, there weren't very exciting types of veggies and one of the potato chunks was pretty raw. Overall a good experience, the only bad thing was the tempura.
Ok, we have been coming here for years, love the service, good food and nice people. My favorite dish is the lobster tail roll. My wife and i come here especially for this dish, but they do have other good stuff too. I like many of the premium rolls, the Chirashi is great and the breaded Soft Shell crab is a favorite. The presentation of their dishes is terrific and the flavors are mmmmm good.
I never leave reviews... ever, but this yakisoba was an absolute dream and deserved recognition. I called in my order to be picked up. It was fast, and the person who helped me was super nice. Portions were huge, and the chicken was barbecued delicious and smokey. In a world where good take out is few and far between, I had to comment. Thank you and everyone should eat here :)
