Sweet Lou's Restaurant & Tap House

My salmon was okay but my husband's steak was about 2/3 the size of a deck of cards. The entire meal was over 2 hours and not of our design. The restaurant service, food and atmosphere wasn't up to the $200 we spent ... and that's disheartening considering two years ago this was a regular spot for us.

Good food, very nice restaurant! I love it is very close to the lake. Definitely good service and I will be back next time I am in CDA.

I've been here now 3 times and each time is consistent! I've only ever gotten (my now hyperfixation) salmon salad and sweet potato fries! They use a separate fryer for their fries so they are gluten free- very very appreciated!!! I asked many times if they were safe and not coated in any flour and they reassured me. I'm not celiac but I am gluten sensitive and all 3x I've gone I've felt just fine after. I love the way they cook their salmon, it has a unique crisp to it almost like an air fry/broiled crisp texture and fresh greens and a great poppyseed dressing. Heated seating outside and pretty views of the downtown park.

Had an amazing time at Sweet Lou’s! They were very accommodating, friendly and fun. Our bartender Arianna was friendly, informative and a great time! The entire crew was very welcoming and I would recommend to all!!

My family and I love Sweet Lou's. It is our go to place for dinner especially on a hot summer night. The food is always good, as isz the service and atmosphere. I love their steak and bluecheese mushroom dinner with a caesar salad and loaded baked potato. Cannot go wrong at Sweet Lou's

Food was horrible, jalapeño burger had no flavor,
Caesar salad was dry, and they used old lettuce. Drinks was not tasty. I’m 48 and they would not serve me without ID. I literally had to go get my ID.

10/12/24 Asked for no onions on my burger. Still came with them. Made the bun very soggy. Way to much mayo just made it messy and nasty.

Service is great and the food is delicious and fresh and management and employee’s super friendly; fast and bend of backwards to make your; experience; unforgettable memories and the outside porch is,;really great. Me and wife family; definitely come back for years to come.it’s a perfect place to just have a friends to meet and have a long-lasting brilliant time.

Parking: Plenty of parking on street and can get a valet parking; for affordable price.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of food for kids;; has quiet and treat the kids with love and happing sure the experience for the kids just as fun; comfortable and safe for everyone.
