We’ve been to Terraza many times and have always had great experiences, which is why I booked a birthday dinner for my husband with a group of nine. Unfortunately, this visit fell far below the standard we expect. The food was fantastic but the service tainted the experience.

Our server, Genesis, provided noticeably poor service. She did not clear plates or glasses, repeatedly forgot who ordered what, and we had to flag her down every single time we needed water or additional drinks. It was clear she was not attentive to our table, and it made the entire dinner feel disorganized and frustrating.

We also were not informed that a 20% gratuity would automatically be added. While that is typically not an issue, it felt frustrating given the level of service received.

I’m sharing this because we have genuinely enjoyed Terraza in the past, but this experience was extremely disappointing.

Walked in and a sign noted to have our license plate ready to validate, so my husband went back out to get a picture, meanwhile the bartender walks to me, no greeting, just a where's your license plate photo. I tell the story and he seats me, I'm like, hold on, I have a husband also ...no intent to ask. We had a reservation, he didn't seem to care. Drinks were so so, nothing to spend another $14 for. Food was nothing to brag about. The only cool thing worth telling people about was the restaurant setting, that's it. A damn shame. All the waitresses once walking away from table went to a frown before 3 feet away, like they hate their job. Hopefully it gets better, a cool place but everything else was crap.

Very good food. Enjoyed a queso with chips and a salad with shrimp. Decent beer and wine menu. Nice view of the riverside.

Could use some more vegetarian options but recommended.

Had a beautiful sunset dinner. The food was spectacular! So much flavor in every portion of the plate. The margs were also really tasty and worth getting!🔥

Excellent food and service! The noise and acoustics made it a little bit hard to hear and talk.

One of the best restaurants across the board in the CDA area! Should be rated way closer to 5 stars! Great food with a lovely view & aesthetic.

Food is overpriced and lacked flavor. Beautifully plated though. My husband got a hard cider which was like drinking carbonated cranberry juice. My Mahi Mahi tacos were fairly tasteless, and honestly, you could have put canned tuna in it and not noticed a difference. The veg and sauce on top had more flavor and there was more of that than grilled fish. Highly disappointing when you're paying $24 for 2 tacos with beans and rice.

Atmosphere was ok. Im sure on a summer evening, being outside would be lovely.

Our server was polite and kind.

The menu was not all that interesting so we went with recommendations from people who have gone multiple times.

We sat outside on a “chilly” October day. I wouldn’t have wanted for more. Food was outstanding, best homemade tortilla chips and Dip trio I’ve ever had. Great service and perfectly cooked steak kabobs. 10/10

How can you run a restaurant in such a beautiful spot by the water yet have such poor service? The waiter’s outfit was dirty, he leaned in way too close while talking, and the guacamole portion was tiny, barely two spoonfuls, with too much salt on the chips. I had a guest visiting from out of the country and I was really disappointed and embarrassed.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had. The waiter, a tall man, brought our food with extremely long and dirty nails. It was disgusting to see. No professional restaurant should ever allow someone with poor hygiene to serve food.

He also touched our baby’s head without asking. You do not touch someone’s child, especially when you work in customer service. His shirt was dirty and looked like it had not been washed in a long time.

Before running a restaurant there must be proper training. You need to train your employees on hygiene, behavior, and how to treat guests with respect. Unfortunately it seems like for you everything is considered okay, but it is not okay.

The restaurant looks beautiful from the outside, but the service and cleanliness do not match. Management needs to take this seriously. A nice place means nothing if there is no basic hygiene and respect.
