Walked in to make a to go order about 15 minutes prior to closing. They couldn’t be bothered. One staff member was stuffing his face with a burger in front of us while the other employee told us they were closing. Real piece of work. I don’t expect this establishment to last long.

Dropped in on Oktoberfest last Friday. Ordered, waited 25 minutes, checked on order with tons of food sitting in baskets in food prep area and on counter, got a dirty look when asking about order. After another 10 minutes of watching 12 people that came in after me being served with one meal sitting on the counter (which apparently was my forgotten order) I walked back up and asked the same girl that glared at me if it was my order. She verified what I ordered, spotted the ticket and still asked the other girl running orders out who literally looked back and forth glancing at my meal and the bare counter on each side of it for 20 seconds confused and they agreed it was my order. Wasted almost an hour of my Oktoberfest and the mediocre burger and fries was cold. I won't be returning.

I haven't had a better burger in my entire life, and I'm honestly glad this little gem is tucked away. Real ingredients, real flavor, and that's what makes this place number one in my book.

I live in Tacoma and look forward to getting fries here whenever I'm in town. This trip was a bit disappointing because the fries were soggy on Sunday. I thought I would try again Monday and the fries were soggy again. The fries used to be very crispy and so good. Very disappointed with this last trip.

Why only 3 stars? Service. Which wasn't totally bad, but the grill was empty for 20 minutes, and it was 30 minutes before our food was put on. I understand patrons arriving before us being served first, but that was a long time of nothing. Did the cook take a break? I don't think so.

And I didn't like the super runny special sauce they use instead of cheese. This was a very messy bacon burger.

Price. Not worth nearly $17 for a burger and fries. I know just a few dollars less isn't that big a deal, but I feel around $14 is a better value. The shake, however, was worth the $7.

Positive side: Fries are great. Milkshake is awesome! So creamy, not that gritty stuff you get from fast food.

Service? yes, we were checked on, and order taking was easy, but still, an empty grill for 20 minutes?

Atmosphere: ok. High ceilings allowed for lots of noise, and loud children were everywhere (including the patio), not the restaurant's fault, but again, noise.
I got to view interesting shows on 3 monitors, no cc, and my friend got to view a post. Literally, a support post. Why isn't a monitor placed from the wall view?
I do appreciate the information on the chalk board that stated the origins/history, and the local sourcing. Always up for supporting local sources.

Kid-friendliness: Tons of them in a venue with high ceilings and fabulous audio amplification. If you like the loudest venue possible without music or a band, this is your place.
Ah, the sound of screaming, wailing children is music only to the parent's ears.

The service was unacceptably slow. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food and it wasn’t even busy. The food may be good. But I’m not coming back due to this.

Hire more staff. For the prices waiting 30 mins for a salad is ridiculous. Burgers are pretty good

The food was delicious! We ordered The Bee and The Sticky. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly and we really liked the dipping sauce. The staff were also really friendly. Yes, the food is a little pricey but it was really fresh and worth every penny. We will be back next time we are in town.
