Always love this place! My partner and I frequent here and it's the best place in town to get a high quality sandwich for a fair price. We went for my birthday today and it was delicious, as expected! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. I take everyone here whenever we need a great place to go to lunch. If I could give them infinite stars, I absolutely would.

It's actually a great place...the barista knows her trade well, and the food offerings were quite a surprise for me on my first visit.Staff was friendly and professional...highly recommended. They have many great offerings, but the Capone's Club is simply amazing. Try it.Update: This has become favorite for us. The deli does some of the most amazing sandwiches and more. They have a good selection of wines, and the kitchen implements they have are numerous. I know they do cooking classes (and related topics), and we hope to take one soon.Yet another update: Staffing issues are plaguing so many of our favorite places, and Culinary Stone is no exception... What it means here is that they close the deli at 4pm now. Be sure to arrive before 4 or, like we did a couple times, you'll have to make other dinner plans.

My current happy space; I come here to work a few days a week. Friendly staff, love the salads, and very accommodating for gluten free in the deli (celiac). I miss the gluten free bakery options but I hope they add some in later. The matcha oat milk lattes are the best!

The Culinary Stone store in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is a dream store for home chefs, kitchen items, gifts, a quick lunch and wine pick up and coffee café ! I was impressed with the selection, the visual merchandising and the supremely knowledgeable and helpful professionals at the store location! It's a perfect place to meet for coffee, lunch, wine and take out for yourself or your family. One of the most delightful stores in the region for those of us who love to spend time in kitchen! Check out the Gabe's Gourmet Foods Spices and containers while you're shopping!

I called to inquire today about whether they carried black vinegar. They do not unfortunately, but about two minutes or so after I called I received a callback from a wireless caller and I answered the phone. It was someone at the culinary stone calling me back to tell me they had googled where I can find black vinegar. That’s great customer service over and above

Super cute place with quite a few interesting and wonderful products for your kitchen or home bar! This stuff makes great gifts too and isn't really that expensive. I'll go back for sure, see you there!?

What a wonderful store with so many great kitchen needs and wants with good prices. Their coffee shop and deli are great also. Love and convenience!

I am very disappointed in The Culinary Stone... Not to sound like a wine snob, but they made the "number one" mistake when it comes to wine and wine education while 'claiming' to be a gourmet culinary specialty store here in town. What is their mistake? They no longer have a wine sommelier on staff and have replaced him with someone with zero wine education... No doubt their wine selection will decline to Walmart class, and their educations seminars and tastings will soon decline to "isn't this label delightful? I just L O V E the artwork!" Ugh. If they offer wine tasting classes moving forward from the date of this review, I would avoid them at all costs because the person talking to you about the wine has no more qualifications to educate you on wine than your cat does to teach you physics. Don't waste your money, go purchase a decent book and educate yourself... trust your own taste buds and avoid the inevitable decline in quality. Without a qualified sommelier on hand, you will never get reliable guidance with wine pairings with any meal you will make or present as a gift, nor be able to speak with anyone of knowledge that is worth your while. If you're going to spend some money on a bottle of good wine, outside of someone telling you that the "label is pretty", abandon hope for finding a decent wine from now on at the Culinary Stone. Why the ownership decided to let their level three sommelier go who has a large, loyal, two-state following is beyond me. It does not take a rocket scientist of a manager to figure out that this is a mistake that will lead to the failure of the wine club and tasting events, that sales will decline, and lose far more revenue than it costs to keep a wine sommelier on staff. Sadly, after being a loyal client since they opened this location, my wife and I will never return due to their poor management and choices. We will simply have to continue ordering wine from Burgundy France for our cellar like we have been, and find a new local wine club that has a decent wine sommelier and selection.

Great place, fantastic choice of cooking items, really good food and espresso corner, AND great job with masks and social distancing!

Lovely store with a wide variety of kitchen gadgets and novelty culinary items.I love how interactive they are with the community. In addition to the kitchen store, they also have a Cafe with beverages, pastries and fresh artisan breads, a deli with extremely delicious sandwiches and salads (I tried the Capone and it was delightful!) As well as the best selection of the fanciest cheeses and meats you've ever seen outside of the cheese mongers shop in Leavenworth. These would be plenty but they also host seasonal events, wine tasting and cooking classes.Come for the kitchen gadgets, stay for the classes and sandwiches.

Incredible! This store has everything for someone who enjoys cooking like I do. There is a great selection and it's fair and reasonable pricing along with cooking classes and the place where you can have a boar's Head sandwich. Felt like I died and went to heaven. A glass of wine you say, or in crafted coffee this place has it all.

I started going here for wine tasting and now I visit 2-4 times a week! They have EVERYTHING I need from great tools for the kitchen, excellent advice, world class wine selection, healthy deli options and, if you can believe it, a Cafe, too! During the Summer they have BBQ and music on Thursdays for only $15! If I could give more than 5 stars I would but, you know...Google. ;)

Wanted to grab a bite before the movies. Wife and I stopped here to have a sandwich. Was surprised. Very good and ingredients were excellent. Also, a very filling sandwich.
