We went for a buffet Easter Brunch. I wish we didn’t. All food was cold. They warmed up sausage and brought back hard burnt sausage. The eggs benny was cold and English muffin was raw untoasted. The omelette was paper thin. Very poor quality buffet. Do not recommend.
We enjoyed a couple visits in the past. It is a beautiful lakeview setting, and we appreciate that they offer a Beyond burger. The biggest downside was that parking is awkward, with no signs, and its' quite a long walk from the nearest lot (especially in winter).Today, we arrived as they were switching from breakfast to lunch. We chose lunch, and ordered right away. There were hardly any other customers there.45 minutes after we ordered, and 40 minutes after they they stopped breakfast, others had their lunch, but we were still waiting for our burger and salad. Our server hadn't been by for 15 minutes or so. I went inside to ask, and was told that "the salad is just being dressed now". Five minutes later, still without food or a visit from our server, we gave up, and left.Of course by then the food was ready, but we didn't stay. The server and supervisor gave a couple weak excuses, but didn't apologize for the delay, nor for not keeping us informed. It was a complete customer service failure. At least they didn't make us pay for the coconut mojito we already had (which was excellent).

They have a beautiful view of the floating green, but the service is extremely slow. It took over an hour to get salads and a couple burgers for 7 people. The restaurant was mostly empty, so that wasn't an issue.

Food was great for some, not great for others. We were not greeted at the front, had to introduce our party and reservations. We were left there for a while and after being seated still found the staff below par and not accommodating.

Overall appalling! After experiencing rude seating staff and waiting way too long to be seated for lunch, my husband and I were surprised to see all of the empty tables. Others who came in after us were seated before us even though they said they did not have reservations. The table & my chair we were seated at were broken. They were also dirty. No waitstaff came to our table to take drink orders or food orders so we walked out after 20 minutes of sitting there waiting! Although waitstaff waited on other customers they seemed to know. I heard one customer complaining to waitstaff about her food. This is the worst service my husband and I have ever experienced in over 50 years of going to restaurants all around the world. Completely unacceptable communication to customers. Upon leaving I went into the women's bathroom. There were empty food containers and wrappers littered about. The bathroom was unclean and had what appeared to be a clogged toilet.

No waitstaff came to our table to take our drink orders or food orders. so we walked out after 20 minutes of waiting! I heard a customer complaining to her waitress about her food order. This is the worst service my husband and I have ever had at a restaurant in over 50 years! Completely unacceptable communication to customers. Upon leaving I went into the women's restroom and saw many empty food containers and wrappers littered about. The bathroom was unclean. Overall appalling experience at Floating Green Restaurant!

While in the area, The Floating Green Restaurant was recommended by a local business. Since we finished around 1230 PM we thought we would give it a try. The security gate stated the restaurant may be a little busy but they let us through. We walked slowly to the restaurant and I told my wife it would be nice to fly here, land on the lake, with the floatplane, and have lunch or dinner. We arrived at the restaurant at 1 PM, had to wait in line for about 7 minutes, to be placed on the list, which I might add had more than a few weird questions: (Didn’t the gate tell you we were busy?). (We were told we could wait in the Pro shop, I was then referred to as the one in the Airplane shirt.) We waited until 1:25 at which time the person coordinating seating came and found us (she then returned to her desk and stated: “They are still here…”.) At 13:30 a second person came and seated us inside at a table. A bus boy that gave us water. We reviewed the menu and decided on drinks and our meal… The problem was we NEVER had a wait staff person come to our table. There was a waitress for the table next to us and three empty tables around us. At 13:49 our wait was over and we left, on the way out I told the ladies responsible for seating us: “thank you for seating us but a 20 minute wait to have a person wait on us was unacceptable.” I have traveled to all 50 states and 28 countries having the pleasure dining with royalty and dignitaries and eating in many 5 star restaurants. Never have I felt looked down upon until today. This establishment seems to think they are the crème de la crème… sorry to inform them of this but they are the WORST of anyplace I have ever been to in 60 years of traveling.

Meh......was looking forwards to going here with girlfriends for the first sunny spring brunch of the year. Two people in my group ordered eggs benedict, I ordered Chilaquiles. The benedict was the most boring benedict, so plain, no extras like most places do: veggies, avocado, anything. Just egg, sauce, and canadian bacon. My chilaquiles was like a mush of chips, beans and sauce, again no extras to make the dish pretty. Everyone's potatoes were shriveled up and dry.Our server was great, view was fantastic.Must be able to stay open because of the view, and the golf course.Wouldn't go back. Has so much more potential than this.
