I’ve gone several times and each time have fully enjoyed myself. It’s one of the places I bring my friends from out of town. Hope it’ll open back up soon.Vegetarian options: I took my friend here who was visiting from out of town. She’s muslim and so can’t have pork products. Vegetarian options are safe for her to try new foods. She was very happy to be able to have a wide selection to choose from without having to question if there is any pork product in it.Parking: There’s limited front parking but plenty if you look on the sides in their new location.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, tables available

Note that they had a fire and are closed for now. We went in mid November to find it closed with a sign on the door.

Wife is a big fan of the Garnet, so we've been a few times. Portions are healthy enough, prices are reasonable. One of the businesses that I hope stays around for the long run

Always a good time, good food, and I love that they're a bit "unusual". Classic diner feels and a really fun menu. Employees are polite, helpful, and patient when trying to decide on what to eat.

This place is fantastic! Good atmosphere and great food! I had the eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes and it was excellent!

The place was fairly busy for a Tuesday, so my anticipation was high for a good experience. The waitstaff seemed to be a bit unorganized and not very warm. The waitress came to take our order but since we had not ordered here previously, we asked for another minute. We tried to flag the waitress down a couple of times to no avail, it took about 15+mins to finally place the order. The food was ok. I ordered eggs over medium, they were not. The pork sausage was very garlicky (didn’t like) but that’s a personal preference as my friend enjoyed them. The pancake was filling and delicious. I would suggest investing a little money in new menus that aren’t stained and crinkled. Also, perhaps ask your waitstaff to smile and at least pretend to like working there.

We visited town for the weekend to attend a wedding, and had a lot of time to kill so we made the café our first stop, and it was great! There were two of us on a Saturday morning and we got a table immediately. The menu had a good variety and the food came out quickly. The staff was nice and the food was so tasty! Not far from downtown and highly recommend!

There were 5 of us total and we got seated right when we got there at 8:30 on a Sunday morning, but it got much busier about 20 minutes after that.Vegan and vegetarian friendly, very grateful for the choices. Some of the best pancakes I've had.Coffee was good for a diner type place.

We absolutely love this place. Our favorite is the breakfast spaghetti, sounds weird but is seriously so good, and big enough to share. Also I'm looking forward to the rosemary toast and lemon custard every time.

Thought i'd give the Garnet Café another try, but but I still have to give it an average rating. The homemade sausage has TONS of garlic in it to the point I couldn't eat it, and I like garlic- I had to send them back. My English muffin was just warmed with melted butter in the center, but NOT toasted in the slightest! The potatoes were like warmed over to bake potatoes with with seasoning, but no brown on them at all, the eggs, however, were done to perfection. Service was average- no "3 minute go back" to see if everything was okay-tried flagging her down 3 times regarding the sausage before she stopped. The young man that was also serving was chewing gum with his mouth open the whole time I was there and it was like watching someone eat with their mouth open- yuck. Will I go back a third time, probably not.

The breakfast is always delicious no matter what I order. It comes with toast of choice (unless you don't want toast) and lemon curd and raspberry jam. To me those 3 items together is like breakfast dessert. Service is great, always served with a friendly smile.
