Maddy and Dorothy are the BEST!!! We love the inside lil bar, the friendliness of the patrons, the well mixed craft drinks and the fact that it’s small and a bit quaint. One of our favorite spots in town and it may just be yours…..go check em’ out!!

For my 1st visit to the Coeur D'Alane area, it appeared to be a bit of a challenge to find a truky curated libation cocktail bar. Look no more. The Goat Lounge provides. Andrew is truly a combo mixologist and bartender. A couple of off menu cocktails and off I was to a proper imbibing experience. The food was a pleasant surprise as well. I hope to travel back soon! Waitress: DOROTHY (Dottie!!). LOVED her! She could be the best reason to go visit this place. She was super on point, funny as hell, personality plus and always on top of food and drink orders. Thank you Dottie for making this a highlight of our stay.
Location: AA++. Right downtown, busy night and ample parking. Right in the middle of the CDA nightlife.
Food: The cheese board was fantastic. Candied walnuts, dried fruit, 2 different dried meats and 3-4 different cheeses. Great sample of many items.
Drinks: We ordered dirty vodka martinis and they were shaken well with the ice crystals floating on top.

This is my favorite bar in CDA. The drinks are excellent and the atmosphere is top notch. This is a great bar if you just want to hangout and have a great conversation with friends. Also, the staff is amazing and professional. I also recommend trying their manhattan or French 75. Definitely recommend!

Friendly bartender that reads books and a chef that came to check on my food… Thai Chicken Skewers were really good and the Thai peanut sauce had some zing!…. Pretty darn good OF too. I’ll be back!

Checked out The GOAT in CDA last night with my friend and the cocktails were on point. Big shoutout to Andrew for the great service—super friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely a solid spot for drinks!

Casual, dimly lit, relatively quiet (in our section anyway), and comfortable spot in downtown CdA. First time guests, we visited during happy hour. Food and cocktails were excellent! I asked about the flavoring in the White Manhattan I was enjoying and found that the aromatic bitters (tasted a little like cardamom) they used were locally made; they offered to sell me a bottle, which I appreciated.

Kid had no idea who I was when I walked in yet refused to serve me based on pretend accusations and refused to give me his information and the owner’s information.
I hadn’t even spoken a word or showed any information and he literally thought he knew me as someone who had gone there and not paid their bill

ARMANDO! Makes a nice cocktail and gives good service. Had the margarita flatbread with chicken and it was amazing! Here on a Sunday afternoon (5pm) and LIVE MUSIC! Lotsa street parking- 4 min walk from the water. Will be back !

I really wanted to be positive about this place, but the service was just so bad. Waited 15 minutes with 2 other people in the whole place to be able to place an order. The bartender complained about being busy with people, and then waited for 10 minutes after getting the bill to get the card picked back up.
