Enjoyed their spicy curry with naan and vegetable basmati rice. Washed it all down with lager from India. Very attentive customer service.

You can’t go wrong with chicken masala. Their garlic naan is so good and fresh.

Coming from Seattle, it's been really hard to find delicious Indian food in North Idaho, and I was a little surprised to see American food items like burgers and fries on the menu even if they might have an Indian flare.Nonetheless, if you're looking for a delicious Chicken Tikka Masala or Chicken Curry (which is dairy free), this is absolutely the best place to go in Kootenai County, and we've tried them all a couple of times.Prices are a little bit more expensive at Mango Tree compared to the others, but those two entrees in particular are amazing and authentic at Mango Tree.Note that Tandoori Grill in Hayden has better Naan bread but their curry entree does not even compare at all to the curry here, and the Tikka Masala there is a small step down compared to Mango Tree. For reference, if you're coming from a larger West Coast city and used to great Indian food, I always ordered 2-star spice level in Seattle and it resulted in a good flavorful and spicy burn in my mouth. Here I ordered 4-star (out of 5) to get a similar spice level that I like.In Seattle, even a minimum one star spice level was too much for my kids, but here my kids can handle 2-3 stars (they generally like spicy food).Dietary restrictions: They have about 5 saucy entrees that can be made dairy free. The curry is definitely the best dairy free option. I wish they would also make a Chicken Coriander (cilantro dish) but that's not currently on their menu.

A decent spot for Indian food if you don't want to leave town (CDA).A lot of unique options, especially with the appetizers like the Indian House Fries. These were sweeter than I expected and I tend to prefer a savory flavor personally. The garlic naan is yummy.Spice levels were pretty accurate. I ordered a two on the spice level with my Mango curry, because I like spicy but am also sensitive to too much. And that was perfect for me.All in all, not a bad experience.Vegetarian options: Indian Food is a great option for vegetarians.

We Went in with our kids, and were seated right away… However we waited 10 minutes before we got fed up and left. Not a single person came to our table…The servers kept passing by ignoring us. Attended to and gave other people who arrived after us waters, not a single person would stop by our table. When we stood up to leave the server came over and started getting defensive by acting like he was in the right for attending to others who arrived AFTER us before us. Not a single sorry nothing… Never will be back to this location.

We ordered take out. The food was good. Ordered a few curry bowls and the butter chicken flatbread. My only gripe was none of the containers were labeled. It was a guessing game at what to eat and not a positive experience for a guest with allergies. We ordered a specific curry bowl for them.

Great food, service fell short. We were seated immediately for an early dinner, and our host told us she would send a server over to get us started. 20 minutes later after having no one check on us, I went and told the owner that we would love to order but haven’t had anyone to serve us yet. Then the host came back and told us that she was actually our server, but thought someone else was supposed to wait on us… after that pretty much everything went smoothly. Food was great and came out very fast, only other complaint is that she never brought us any water refills.

consistently delicious! friendly staff and well priced. Plus they actually answer the phone for orders unlike the Spokane locations.

Tonight, the family ventured to Mango Tree in CDA. As someone who doesn't fancy overly spicy dishes, I approached curry with some trepidation, but tonight proved to be a delightful surprise. The service was impeccable. However, I would have preferred if the courses from the Restaurant Week menu were brought out at different times. Nevertheless, all the dishes were delectable, and the conversation flowed effortlessly amidst the subtle blend of spices. We sampled about half of the offerings for Restaurant Week. I, for one, was thoroughly pleased with the outcome. Our selections included the half butter chicken poutine, fish pakora, Murgh Makhani, Indian-style flatbread, and Gulab Jamun. Of these, I would highly recommend the poutine, flatbread, and Jamun, unless you have a penchant for fish, in which case, the Fish Pakora is a must-try. The serving sizes were generous, and considering the price of $25, it's a steal – you'll likely leave with leftovers. In addition to the Restaurant Week menu, we also indulged in the lamb Biryani and chicken coconut curry, both of which are staples for our family. Their flavors were rich and authentic. Considering the price and service received, Mango Tree is certainly worth a visit, especially during this special week from February 24th to March 2nd. The server was attentive without being pushy, allowing us ample time to savor our meal.

I'm addicted to the food here. Butter chicken, tikka masala, korma, I love it all! Can't get enough of the butter naan either;)

This is probably the best Indian food in North Idaho. I say probably in case there's another Indian place I don't know about in North Idaho. I only know of two. Of the two, Mango Tree has the best food. Never been to India, but the area we came from had a very big Indian population and there were copious Indian restaurants. Mango Tree matches some of the best of those. They have a great lunch special with plenty of food. We like Monday and Wednesday lunch specials. Don't remember the names of the dishes. The only thing hit or miss is the service. Sometime we wait for a while in front to be seated where no one pays attention to us despite it not being busy. Other times the sever feels rushed, and sometimes they will get the order wrong. But then sometimes we get great service. We also wish the mango lassi was larger in size. It is yummy though. Despite the spotty service, we keep coming back as it is really delicious food. The best Indian food in Northern Idaho.

Usually a great restaurant. But they seem highly under staffed. Went there on Saturday 2/10.. sat for over an hour while everyone around us that came in much later … received all their food. And waitress finally comes to check in with us and says oh I completely forgot to put your order in. And didn’t even remember what our order was. Such a terrible experience. Needless to say, we didn’t stay.

Loved the food here. Curry bowls are flavorful and plenty. There's also a full bar! The mango curry bowl was a bit too sweet for my taste but the lamb tikka masala one was outstanding. Waiter asked for spicy levels 1-5. I went with a 5 and didn't regret it. Just the right level I prefer. Definitely recommend especially on a cold day!
