We got there a couple minutes after 4 o'clockThey said they were shorthanded which I can understand. For a small place it took over an hour to get our food. And when we did we had to ask for silverware,drinks,condiments .All 4 of our dinners was cold 3 of us had ribs they were so Tough I would not feed them to a dog. All of the meat was dry. The only thing good I can say is that it Had good flavor. Sad to say we will never go back.

Got Relic catered today at work. Food was absolutely amazing! Everything! The beans, apples, cole slaw, ribs, chicken, brisket, pulled pork. Don't even get me started on the sauces. Top notch bbq will definitely go in for myself!

DO NOT judge this restaurant by the exterior (or do..... we can keep it for us locals). Wow! Just WOW! Relic Smokehouse is fall off your stool unbelievably great food. My husband ordered the brisket, i ordered ribs and brisket and (creatures of habit we are) we both ordered the mac & cheese and beans for sides. The food was out of this world outstanding. It comes with 3 different sauces: regular bbq (good), hot bbq (amazing!!) And hot mustard (outstanding). Loved that the meat came "dry" so you could add your sauce of choice - problem is we loved them all. The meat was literally melt in your mouth tender, and the flavor was outstanding. The mac & cheese should be its own food group - its THAT good. It's houses in a historic building with an unassuming front. It is our new favorite regular spot.

I have been there many times and this is the first time I have been there and was intensely disappointed. Ribs were dry, not as tasty, order was messed up. Backwards and not accurate. (Take out), Colby had the attitude and look of someone extremely stoned. Maybe he is that way all the time. Don't know him.Still debating whether I'll come back.

Great disappointment ? Got to the restaurant at 5:50 pm and was seated right away. The waitress took our order, which was prime rib and a 2 meat plate, by 6:00. Finally at 6:45 I asked what was going on, since 3 other parties that showed up after us had gotten their food. The waitress said oh sorry we were slammed when you came in I'll go check. She then went back and talked with the cook staff and came out 5 min later after they plated our food. No apology offered, no offer of discount, and then didn't even say goodbye as we were leaving. Food was decent but service was very disappointing!!
Absolutely delicious! Even better than we have heard. We'll be back soon.

The was very good. They had live music. They were very good. It was a great experience. We ordered a combination plate that was $99. Definitely worth it. Excellent mac and cheese.Parking: We parked across the street.

This place is absolutely amazing, some of the most friendly people I have ever met in my life. The pit master was incredibly kind and offered to let me taste a few things as well as take some for the road.Now let's talk about the important part, the food. DAMN! It had been so long since I had good brisket I nearly fainted. Melt in your mouth no sauce or knife needed. The collards, oh the collards, get the collards, did I mention the collards. I haven't had good collards in years and these put me in a near meditative state. The chicken had a nice skin and was juicy but would have liked a little more flavor on the inside. Skip the baked potato.This place is well worth a trip and some of the best bbq I've ever had.

Have been to Relic half dozen times and while the availability of some of the meats has been hit n miss, what is available is always super tasty. Service is efficient and friendly enough. Be sure and double check your takeout orders though as I didn't and missed them not including an appetizer. Good place, will return again.

The restaurant is in a Quonset hut. That should tell you it's not fine dining. That being said, the food is pretty good, and they have an old school Galaga video game near the back.I got the Hot Diggity Dog, and my wife got the loaded backed potato. The food tasted good, but I thought the dog could have been hotter, temp wise. The potato was good, with the burnt end brisket chili adding good flavor. They have a decent beer selection as well.They don't have a huge amount of seats, so get here early on a Friday if you want to sit down immediately. We sat outside, so we didn't have any real noise to deal with and the sunset was a rather nice backdrop to dinner.We'll be back to try more BBQ goodness.
